I think so. Obviously you wouldn't want to spend £42 on it, but it's a bloody bargain at £40.49

Headset is ok. White version shows up dirt really quickly and also occasionally the mic will pick up gunfire as the mic is built into headcup. 3* rating. Battery will last maybe 5 hours before needing to charge.

Brill headset! I've had mine, just under three years. Still immaculate, but battery is suffering a bit. My boys got a set too. Uses daily (for hours), not immaculate, but still in one piece. Fingers crossed no cracking on either. Heat

I've got a knackered set of which you can have the battery if you like. Twist the right ear pad off, 3 screws and swap battery...easy as that..

Does it work well with the PSVR headset ?
Kebabcasualty to jaygee248
13 Jun 171#17
No. Its too heavy to use both and it'll either let light in if under the PSVR headrest or not sit on your ears properly if over the PSVR headrest.

Cheers for the offer! To be honest it's not that bad. Suits my purposes, as I never seem to have enough time to play any lengthy times. Due to a grumbling mrs and kids swinging off me!

I own a pair of these, good cans and the virtual surround on PS4 and PS3 is great (especially the Uncharted games).
However, these don't co-exist well with PSVR, imho: to get the 7.1 virtual surround you need to use the USB dongle. This works great with non-VR games but the PSVR's 3D audio will only work from the 3.5mm socket on the headset's inline button unit. You can still use these headphones with PSVR, but they have to be connected to the 3.5mm socket with a cable; they can't be used wirelessly with PSVR.

Amazing piece of kit the mic is great on this. I use it for both my pc and PS4. The dongle simply plugs in to both machines granted you have to connect the headset to your controller when playing on the PS4. Amazing price! Heat for ya Buzz have a good one chief

Eh? No you don't!
I have these and they're a good set of cheap wireless gaming headphones but for £40 if you're not bothered about having a cable from your controller you'll get much more bang for buck buying wired.

I have an old turtle beech that uses 2.4ghz but i get a lot of interference from 2.4ghz wifi, would this headset suffer the same pop/dropouts?

I replaced a turtle beach PX5 headset with these about a year ago for the same reason. Significantly less interference and pops/dropouts in my experience. Use it on the PS4 only occasionally, mostly for watching movies on the media PC if the family is sleeping and I can't crank up the surround sound system
