VR is a pass-through tech, nobody is gonna get clobbered up in this sh*t just to play a game, looks an*l as well, two of my friends never use theirs anymore and its pretty anti-social, the games are lame and tacky imo. Sorry i can't think of anything negative to say.

It'll sit lovely next to my Betamax video, 3D telly and Oric Atmos.

God no, much better things to do with my money than waste it on nonsense that's not going to take off.

Not absolutely sure it ever burst into life. The tech companies are pouring fortunes into it and the likes of the BBC are in love with it, but consumers just aren't having it. They're being sold second-hand already for PS4 and the outlay currently for PCVR is ridiculous.
The price point won't be right for years yet apart from early adopters who'll buy anything shiny.

I hated mine at 800 outlay all in,sold that got a set up 350 ish all in,absolutely love it. the price does make a heavy shackle for it.gives it a level of expectation it cannot fill.at the right price it will flourish more.

VR is amazing and in the future it will only get better but it does feel a bit lonely playing in it.

Go play Alien Isolation in VR....totally kills the suspense and tension. Sales are already dropping off, VR is rarely brought up in conversation unless as a joke, which is understandable really, its a medium for loners i suppose, unsocial and isolating, sad.
Advanced Augmented reality is the future, it offers more real world applications, instead of wearing a large Phallus on your noggin as in VR, the tech is and will be less obtrusive and socially isolating.
