Depends on the audio set up to be honest. If you have an all singing and dancing surround sound set up, probably not.
But headphones are good for at night if you want to game loudly without upsetting others in your home or if you're really loud, the neighbours! Also can be handy for FPS games online, easier to hear all around so possibly stop someone sneaking up and tea bagging you :smiley:

I've had a set of these since they launched and paid nearly double this for them.
Great headphones and would get the same again if I ever need a replacement, used daily and still like new.

They work wirelessly on PC and come with a cable to use them with anything with a 3.5mm jack.

Why is this hot when the Black version is the better colour matching the PS4 and only 4p more at Zavv. Confusing that the other Sony headset deals were voted cold recently and this one is hot???

Ear cups don't have enough padding on these found I could only wear these half a hour at a time before they started hurting my ears

I ended up buying the black ones - couldn't decide myself - just got the family to cast a vote.
Not sure whether I should buy 2 years accidental damage protection for £18 from Argos? A lot of comments in deals with these have mentioned that they snap after a few months! £18 for 2 years isn't really that much.

I read it a lot too but it hasn't happened to any of mine in 2 years. As long as you rarely fold the sides up and only open as much as your head I'd say they'd be fine. What ages will be using them? £9 a year is nothing though for peace of mind I suppose!
