I am assuming this will have a better quality image than a "cheaper" 4K TV (LG / Philips), when using it for SkyHD etc?

Do not dare to buy from these cowboys unless you are absolutely convinced that you will keep it.
They will not allow you to return the TV! I was sick with exasperation and ended up selling the TV on eBay losing £80 in the process. You have been warned, but if you're still tempted research their horrid returns policy.
Their CS is at exactly the other end of the spectrum from that of Amazon.

How long after buying did you try to return. Surely if you buy online distance selling rules apply.
Bought a cooker and a washing machine from them and delivery service was fine, luckily not had to return anything. Did get p'd off by the guys phoning to flog me their additional warranties though

Does this TV have Android built in?
I can't see anything in the specifications to suggest it does?

To be fair you probably do not want one of those Android built-in "smart" TVs from Sony. I have one and it is slooooow... Run almost all apps from my TV box instead - much much quicker
I've got this TV. It's not bad, great picture, but it takes a decade to come on and then even longer for the buttons to respond. 20 seconds at least to change the channel or volume. Other than that can't fault it.

Do you have network issues every time it updates? Mine always loses the ability to connect after update has installed and spend days switching things on and off till its done.

I find that with a lot of sony TVs. The remotes are terrible.

To be honest I've never connected it to do an update since the first time, and I experienced what you are now, so I just left it alone after that. Its a shame because the picture quality is miles better (imo) than the equivalent Samsung or LG, just the OS I suppose that lets it down.
