Never experienced the random cut out but mines paired with a Panny TV so that may be why.

This is 100% true, even Richer Sounds staff have been told to advise customers not to buy SONY TV and SONY SoundBar packages.... Bottom line is SONYs own equipment isn't even compatible.... says it all really

Last one sold in Swindon Walmart - missed it but saw the customer with it in his trolley and a smile on his face !

I got a refurb one from Sony Direct for the same price. I use it all the time for Bluetooth streaming, YouTube through the TV and there's a usb port so you can play your own music. It's not the most powerful but it's well worth the money at this price. As said previously, there is definitely a power button at the right side of the unit.

Had this a few years now. Really good piece of kit. It doesn't have a power button on it and I too lost the remote at one point. Bought a compatible replacement off ebay. The official ones are over £20!

Does this one have a power button onboard? My last Sony soundbar became useless when I lost the diddy remote and couldn't power it back on

Could you have bought a universal remote or fancy harmony one and taught it what the soundbar is?
Voted hot on the deal despite never hearing it as I like Sony sound gear always seems to sound good for its size

This does have a power button. It's located on the right hand side of the sound bar, you can control power, input type, Bluetooth and volume from the onboard buttons.
The remote is a little bigger than other sound bars, it's just a little bit shorter than my TV remote.
I've used it a little Last night and this morning and I'm so far very impressed!
Opening post
A quick check online shows this going for £100+ at most other retailers. (£120 at Amazon).
I was in the West Bridgford store, there were 5 other units on the shelf this evening.
