Rumour is these deals are one last hurrah as pro is dropping to £275 and ps4 dropping to £220 perm at e3 to take the wind out of Microsoft sales.

Is the PS4 Pro loud? Like annoyingly loud like the original PS4?

It is audible, I wouldn't say loud. With TV off you can hear the fans but can't hear it over the TV. Mine gets very hot, not sure if normal or not but performance hasn't been effected.

Think I'll save my money got a normal Ps4 console don't really need to upgrade to pro as I don't have a 4k TV a bit of extra graphics is not gonna make me part with 350 notes. As for Vr I think that's still over priced. Having fun on final fantasy online got destiny 2 preordered so until new uncharted game, last of us, Ni no kuni 2,or Persona 4 golden gets a release on PS4 I'm all good until then :smiley:

My Pro is pretty much whisper silent, only time the fan kicks in slightly is when it's really getting pushed with a graphically intensive game such as HZD

Can anyone advise on if the pro is worth it? My criteria are solely for the effect it has on PSVR games. Does it make them significantly better?

My pro is pretty quiet too unlike the standard PS4 which is noisy. I stopped watching films on the PS4 because of it, but happy to report the pro doesn't suffer with noisy fans. On a good 4k tv it's awsome!

If you reserve the PS4 Pro with Horizon Dawn now, and go to collect tomorrow, can you be sure they're obliged to include WipeOut when you ask to pick it up? Technically you're only reserving the console with Horizon Dawn... there's no mention of WipeOut on the page at the moment.

Would have preferred a straight up price cut on the Pro, not quite good enough for me to take the plunge.

also depends on the TV stand or cabinet you have it in. If it's in an enclosed, tight space it will be louder because of echoes, and because the reduced airflow will cause the fan to work harder

Same. This was the hottest deal. First time customer too, so I used the £20 off voucher. Chuffed!

By far the best value, IMO, because of the extra controller. And if you're a first time customer, it's a no-brainer.

I received mine today but they bundled Wipeout instead of an extra controller! What about you?

Edit: even more of a cockup, they didn't include the PSN subscription! They just sent the barebones HZD and Wipeout package. No controller, no PSN!

Great not looking forward to seeing what's at home waiting for me then... have you contacted them to ask what to do next? I don't want to have to send it all back and wait such a hassle. Grrr

EDIT: Just as I thought... They did the same to me. Delivered the wrong SKU Code completely. They were meant to Deliver LQKYG19 but Instead delivered LQKYG15. Looks like same happened to you. I called them up woman was very unhelpful but pried everything that I needed to know about what happened. I told her to Order me the Correct SKU & I would use this PS4 & Return back the other PS4 Arriving but keep the Extra's & Return back the original order. Messy but It'll eventually get done.

Somebody answer ASAP please. I want to buy the pro mega deal however horizon isn't in stock. Does this mean if I purchase it I will never receive this product. Or will I get it at a later date
