This is a well known well rated camera, it recently dropped for a limited time to £180. At this price I might've got one but I've already bought similar Panasonic now. Had a price drop alert on this. Might suit someone.

The Argos model is HX-60 with no mention in spec of GPS that tags your photos with the location. GPS was the deciding factor when I bought my recent Panasonic similar format camera.
This Currys one on this deal is HX-60VB and the description says GPS.

Got one from Amazon lightning deal in 2014 for £159.99. The photos are average for a 20mp compact camera (watercolour effect, no real detail), but the video is good and obviously the zoom is crazy. Good as a take-everywhere camera.

I'm debating if I should sell my current one on eBay and buy a new one....

I purchased this version about two years ago, still works perfectly
Really nice camera. Bought one for £160 from Currys beginning of December for a trip to London. In some aspects it blew me away (zoom for example was absolutely stunning, several photos of airplanes (nerd) lol. But was not great for the Aquarium and in the end I ended up using my phone for most photos after that point and ended up selling it as wasnt touched again.

That equation does come up this camera and others like it are superb, but most people always have a flagship mobile phone in their pocket.
The zoom makes a really big difference and it is not in peoples face so you can take a picture from a distance that loses quality on a mobile.

I should mention the WiFi function, Both the HX-60VB and the HX-60 (no GPS) have WiFi. This enables on-the-go quick transfers of pics to your phone for sharing on social media. Lack of WiFi is the only reason I'm selling my old DSC-HX10V on eBay.

This is a compact superzoom that fits in a jeans pocket. Although, I suppose you could stuff the P900 down the front if you had a lot of spare room in your undies.....
