I've been doing a bit of research as I'm looking to buy a movie room TV. Apparently there isn't a massive difference between the KS7000 and the KS8000/9000 panel, apart from slightly less motion blur. The only other difference is the KS7000 has 40w speakers, whereas the KS8000/9000 has 60w speakers.

I was after the flat panel instead of the curved one of this model but it appears to be discontinued..shame looks like a really nice tv

Got the 55 inch from co-op earlier this month for £830. Can fault the TV planing to watch the Martian tonight in UHD.

Cheers bud. Almost picked the ks9000 up on Sunday but I'm not sold on the curve, looks nice but the curve seems a bit gimmicky

I'm still looking for a decent 55" Samsung, for a good price. Missed last years 7000 series. Gutted.
