Anyone has actually purchased a refurbished tv from Richer Sounds? How is the quality and condition? Am interested in one model there but not sure about what I would receive with a few hundreds of £ spent. Many thanks.

Pixel count matters less the further away from the display in relation to screen size

No point in a 49" 4K tv unless you're gonna sit 6ft away.

Yes I meant the stock shown in local store. What they advertise bears no resemblance to what they ACTUALLY have in stock.

This is refurbished and not new. Means only a 12 month warranty and not 6 years.

You could extend the warranty yourself as new over £200 dearer.
That should buy the extra warranty with money to spare.

should really have refurb in the title. I voted hot before I saw it, but I got this tv for 407 new so I dunno if it's that hot! great t.v. though

Each store has its own clearance page with different stock.
This link takes you to online stock only, I think people assume all clearance stock will be available in every store.

My local rs advertises these clearance deals but never has any stock. God knows why they bother as I've given up now and don't even attempt to buy a clearance or refurbished item.

I brought a Samsung 5 years ago, it was repaired twice in the first 6 months the 3rd time JL agreed to replace it for free for the next model up. At the end of the 5th year it went wrong again, Samsung never again for me.

Wouldn't worry about extending warranty on Samsung TVs,we have 2 one is nearly 5 years old and the other 3 years, not one problem with either, this is a cracking price and worth the gamble...

for £300 to £400 it is £52 and TBH it is not worth it, for £359 if it breaks after 2 years throw it, for that you would of paid £104, and how warranty work they wont be able to replace it so you will get offered a TV in the price range you paid, which is never going to be as high spec as this

You can' extend the warranty on refurbished at Richer Sounds. If it exists you would have to find an extended warranty program elsewhere.
