Looks like a decent price for this TV, last year's model but got great reviews, says they're refurbished, but Richer Sounds are decent for their standards so should be in very good condition and your still get a minimum 12 months warranty.

Anyone has actually purchased a refurbished tv from Richer Sounds? How is the quality and condition? Am interested in one model there but not sure about what I would receive with a few hundreds of £ spent. Many thanks.

I'm sure I read somewhere the panels used for this 49Inch version of the TV weren't as good as the others.
Is this true or am I just remembering life wrong? I really want either this or the 55inch version but can't find that anywhere :disappointed:

I thought it went on the letters, rather than the numbers? J series were 2015, K were 2016?

Allot to spend for a TV with only 1 yr warranty - sounds like a false economy to me...

That was my concern - the one i bought Ex Display less than 2 weeks ago from Currys was £799 and is treated as an outright purchase - I could register the Serial No. with Samsung and everything like normal.

Just spoke to Richer Sounds on the phone -
This TV DOES NOT come with:
- Samsung 10 Year Screen Burn Warranty
- Richer Sounds 6 Year VIP Warranty
So essentially all you have to show for this purchase is 12 months guarantee and a 14 day returns policy.
Make sure you check it thoroughly for Screen Burn - It is easy to detect if you set the Backlight To 20 and the Brightness past 30.
My Screen burn from Ex-Display appears at 35+ Brightness on PC Mode which needs to be lower for some reason on Windows 10 (Still getting used to it)

Likely to be a lot of refurbished stock. I returned 3 of them due to various issues and the 4th is still not perfect. Despite the reviews this is an awful tv with terrible build quality. Never buying another Samsung tv.

KS9000 series put me off them as well. Wish I'd realised why there's so many 'refurbished' and 'as new' ones listed on eBay!

I got the KS9000 65 inch for £1,199, similar actual image specs etc and it's a great TV. Handles PS4 pro, sky Q (not much effort) 4K blu rays really well. Save your money and get last years TV's. No real difference, unless actually side by side. But certainly not to justify the silly difference.

Was looking at the RS clearance for a while and a lot of them are only a few hundred££ from a new model, (larger models) not really worth it as you also get 5 years on a new one. But this is a great find, nice catch OP
