I see they have a v2 out now, anyone knows what is the difference other than price of £95.99 for v2, oh and any comparison to other headphones for sound? I do like bass'y headphones myself.

Got one, internal battery but you can have it charging constantly over usb. sound quality is amazing with little latency if any
Any comparisons between this and the PS4 Gold or Platinum headsets? I tried the gold but my ears got uncomfortably toasty during long sessions :disappointed:

Fyi I'm 90% certain the PS4 only supports 2.0 channel. Not the full 7.1.

I doubt that's true. If it says in the Amazon title 7.1 surround (PC/PS4) then I would tend to believe it. If it accepts optical audio input then the 7.1 will work with anything even Xbox one, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4. It's the chat that will only work for pc and ps4

Just read a review and you might be right. If I was a savvy buyer (hint hint) I would buy it then complain to Amazon that it's not as described so they give me some money off, further reducing the cost
