amazing deal! really wanted this myself. got to store at 10am and all sold out, apparently people queuing up to buy before shop had even opened. all stores are now sold out the guy said :disappointed: if anyone wants to sell one let me know :smile:

Same at my local store - only had 6 in total (3 of each colour) they were all spoken for before the doors opened. Sold out for pre order online within a few hours apparently. Maybe this should be expired then if not available online or in store anymore?

Turned up at Whitefield Manchester at 7:55 ,no one at front door, then all of a sudden about 10 people arrived all wanting the suite.luckily had 12 in stock .45 kg big box but everyone helped each other loading into cars .Bargain for 179 so decided to get another but by 9:30 was told completely sold out ,even customer services had automated telephone message saying all gone now .
Good luck if you can get one worth every penny.

Stupid deal really (by Aldi) we went to 4 different stores today and they had all sold out by 8am, it couldn't be ordered online (not sure how anyone else managed that?) as it said in store deal online on their website. And their customer service department would not tell me if it was in stock anywhere, so after 4th shop, gave up. Shame really as it would have been my first garden furniture set, no doubt some people bought this to resell on at a profit which is even more frustrating.
Do they not think about stock when getting these deals in? Been told no more coming in either, crap deal by Aldi really.

turned up to Aldi at 7:45am(8am open) - already a que at the door had 6 in stock got the last one in light grey fantastic quality for the price and 3 years warranty apsolute BARGAIN! - unlucky if you didn't get one ... maybe get out of bed earlier

Great find just wasn't destined to have one missed the last one online It was there in my grasp as I added to basket it was no longer available so I went to store yesterday, queued like an idiot as soon as doors opened spied a little queue by tills they were there right in front of me all 4 of them and I was number 5, typical !! Its called the HOME 3 Seater Rattan Effect Mini Corner Sofa code 617/4954. Argos website is really quite bad, had to use Google to find it!

It's likely a loss leader or end of line, hence limited stock. Or it's just a PR gimmick.

Either way, at this price it's not going to be great. Just spent the last few weeks researching and there's a huge difference in rattan, even just the PVC like this one.
(i.e. strength, weave, UV safe, aluminium or cheap rusty metal, outdoor safe cushions, thick cushions, etc)

Oddly, the best deal we found in the end, even after looking at specialists, was George/ASDA.

A bit of a silly comment really. IT was sold out online they don't have a unlimited supply. They kept some for instore purchases but again not a unlimited supply . Aldi don't have huge stores or stock rooms and these were big heavy boxes,. Mine had 12 in stock.Customer services were overwhelmed with calls about stock levels and put out a automated phone response to advise of the fact. So don't understand your beef with them,it was well advertised with the when it's gone its gone slogan like many retailers. Well done to aldi on a fantastic product at a great price.

Sorry sounds like sour grapes. I have a set already which was 500 quid, yes it's slightly better quality than aldi but didn't have 3 years warranty. Aldi one has individual weave not a molded cheap weave effect. Thick armrests and decent zipped covers. Doubt any covers are suitable to be left outside with UK weather. Seen asda bm wilko home bargain ones and non were anywhere as good as aldi one. If it was poor quality would you really offer a 3year no quibble warranty. Any buyers of the Aldi ones who are not 100%happy with buy please let us know!!!

I sent my mum to get mine as i was getting the children to school and then i had to get off to work. They had 6 in my local store, and she managed to get one. She queued up outside the store at 7.45am, and they were gone as soon as the doors opened, so we were really lucky. They do look really good, i'm hoping to get mine put up over the weekend, so i've only looked at them in the box for now. Just need the sun to return so that we can get out and use it :smiley:

For sure there is an element of 'saltiness' with my comments, I just could not believe they would sell out so fast across all the stores like that, I had searched online for it for ages and it had always said 'in-store only coming 29th June' we liked the grey colour, the Argos one looks a more brown colour, that said, it's out of stock everywhere in Argos around here too, even home delivery.

Turned up early today(Saturday) , fortunate I was home, bloody couriers.
Took 2 hours to assemble.
Also sourced a cover and have space to store it over the winter.
Quality is good, 3 year warranty, no brainer, bargain.

You can of you live on benefits like most on here. Always the ones that can get in on these deals. If it's a house wife they will be loaded and wouldn't dream of shopping at a place like Aldi anyway lol
