Passed at least 6 stores all had a huge signs in the window advertising them so I expect they've got massive stocks.

Saw this on the Tv programme which prompted me to buy... I'd say that if I wasn't aware that it was 4 ply then I would have guessed more like a 2 ply. Still a better substitute than the normal "4 rolls for £1" quality.

I've got the toilet roll. It feels ok but it doesn't last long. A pack of 9 lasted me just over a week and I live alone. I always find that cheap toilet roll doesn't last long.

Quilted = Thicker paper = Less sheets per roll.

Only 150 sheets per roll rather than the normal 220, that's why it's only £2.00

As it's 4-ply, might be good, been tempted to try - usually buy Nicky 3-ply. Women tend to use more to take makeup off and stuff - I always see men moaning women go through loo rolls like wildfire :stuck_out_tongue:

Orange Nicky used to be softer ??Much prefer to go through woman like wildfire (says him ageing lol) than my 9 rolls for £2 at Home Bargains (I got all the M&S staff buying it as I always buy it enroute there lol) I can get 2 months for £2 - you can't get 1 female that can last 9 mins with £2 in her hand, they usually come back saying I need xPence more lol
Ladies get some cotton pads from Home Bargains 2 x 100 for 99p out yer own purse, seen some real cheap ones at Bodycare too for 49p - not sure amount but much cheaper and effective and leave the bum roll for front and back bums please! Better marriage too strong

Didn't know there was an Orange Nicky (?). I usually buy the 18 packs of Nicky (light green branding) from Savers as it's just down the road.
As for cotton pads, cheapie ones leave "fluff" everywhere, the best, cheapest ones are from Aldi https://www.aldi.co.uk/cotton-wool-pads/p/042860020723400 69p for 200 = 2 packs of 100 (I don't wipe my bum with them, they're for cleansing my face :stuck_out_tongue:)

Lidl also do 4ply rolls but the sheets are smaller than Nicky and similar rolls

Man I was ripped off at Home Bargains, 99p! I used to get really good ones at Poundland but I haven't seen any cotton pads in months in my local Poundies. Yes the orange Nicky I have only seen at Premier when new years ago and now just HB's - the green is definitely 'rougher'.

I said just over a week. 10 days or so. Lol. Definitely under a fortnight though.

Cotton pads from Wilko are quite good. I've got the ones from Lidl. They are ok but not 100% cotton. They are better and softer from other places.
