Good deal.
Just a note for those wanting to go on Quake 2 nostalgia trip -
Those who have played Quake 2 will mostly agree it has a stand out soundtrack - this, unfortunately, is read directly off the disc of physical copies of Q2 and therefore is not included in the digital versions distributed by Steam.
I can't remember if this is the case for Q1 and Q3 but I think it only affected Q2.

Unreal Tournament and Quake III both released in 1999, both amazing games. I think UT just beats Quake III for the A.I. which was ahead of its time.

Thanks guys, anyway Quake 1 is the best ever. I don't care the rest. Sometimes I played til morning, went to sleep at midday.

Me too.
Started a session on a Saturday night in a dimly lit room then as dawn was breaking I looked down at my feet and wondered where the f**k all these empty beer cans had came from.

Ahhh quakeworld  Games now a days are just so slow paced.
Just shed a sentimental tear reminiscing about playing Quake for the first time.

I'm sure there are plenty of people who've never heard of this  ... what a game (in it's time) - I learnt all my multiplayer FPS skills from this
