Currently £44 on amazon and priced at originally £35 - this is less than half price for a PURE DAB radio. Sounds good too. Had three on the shelf at TESCO extra Stretford. Does not take batteries but requires separate bespoke power pack. But does come with AC Power adapter. Bargain.

If you desire portability with this,
You would need to buy seperate ChargePak battery because it cant use AA batteries. Factor in the extra expense.

About £10 on ebay. Bought one a couple of years ago and still charges and works fine.

Yeah. It's pretty good impressive sound as well. If ever a company was synonymous with a particular tech - PURE and DAB are.

I have one of these, maybe an older model but it does take a pure chargepak. Use mine in the bathroom. Not bad for the money, small enough to fit on a narrow shelf etc.

Me too, I keep mine charged with a 2-pin Samsung Phone travel charger plugged in a shaver socket.

Bargain.
