Resident Evil 7 Biohazard sets a new course for the Resident Evil series as it leverages its roots and opens the door to a truly terrifying horror experience. The new era of horror is scheduled for release on PlayStation 4 (the full gameplay experience will also be available via the included PlayStation VR Mode) and Xbox One.
Set within a sinister plantation mansion in modern day rural America and taking place after the dramatic events of Resident Evil 6, players experience the terror directly from the first person perspective for the first time in the Resident Evil series. Embodying the iconic gameplay elements of exploration and tense atmosphere that first coined “survival horror” some twenty years ago, Resident Evil 7 biohazard delivers a disturbingly realistic experience that will define the next era in horror entertainment.

Heat! Playing it on the PC at the moment. Amazing game but I would not have the stomach to play it in VR

good game. i have finished it on PC lately. its a shame that game is not scary at all. its more like a slasher than survival horror game like alien isolation. firts playthrough took me 9 hours 45 and I was not rushing it. i am planning 2nd playthrough on easy, goal is to beat game in under 4 hours. 3rd playthrough on madhouse.

Tried out PSVR at the weekend and played Resident Evil 7. Quite an experience, very impressed until the motion sickness started to kick in (sadly all too quickly).

Is it because of latency issues?

No, I get it most when there's rotational movement that I didn't make with my head.
They've lessened it to some degree by offering segmental (30° or 45°) turning but even then, I can only manage about 15 mins before I need to turn it off.
I don't get queasy with vehicle games - the cockpit seems to be enough to trick my mind into accepting the lack of physical motion.
That wasn't the case for RIGS however... I couldn't finish the tutorial!

Same me. It was the most amazong experience I have had on VR but i got motion sickness within 10min. Extreme form where even the thought of the VR a few hours later made me sick.

I see. So it's when your characters moving, rather than you physically looking around with the VR headset?
I only ask because I was really interested in getting the VR headset, but wasn't sure about this aspect.
