I don't believe the quoted Amazon read/write speeds; I notice this is a My 256GB Samsung EVO+ microSD performs MUCH faster.

The article you mention basically just specifies on dash cams, not regular use for phones or gaming devices etc.
For anything other than dashcam use most sd cards are fine.

For phone and tablet use, you're more interested in 4KB performance, and here the Evo shines: it scored 9MB/s when reading and 3MB/s when writing. from pcadvisor

So what cards does one use for dash cams?

256GB is much faster U3 version... 64GB is only U1 card

As others have said, I pre ordered this two weeks ago. Still no availability date. It's all a bit weird really.
