**Things can go wrong, so I'd use this informatively, and wait until midnight to purchase from CDKeys.**
Bit of a heads up really. We all know that Sony are dropping the price of a 12 month subscription to PlayStation Plus by £10 to £29.99 at midnight...
On this premise and using CDKeys with their 5% Facebook page discount, you can drop the price down to just £26.59. It's not a massive saving, but it's a £1.50 saving.
I'd inform you at the time, but I'll be off playing DiRT 4.

You buy the £30 or £35 top up codes from cdkeys (not the ps plus top up, just the standard credit) using the 5% code at checkout.
You then log into your psn account and enter the code you got from cdkeys; this will credit your psn account by £30/35.
You then buy the 12 month psn extension from psn itself (not from cdkeys).
Thanks. My PS Plus wasn't due for renewal until December. However £26.59 is too good a price not to renew now. Purchased and now membership is extended to the end of 2018. Excellent.

I got another year of PS plus for £26.58 using the CDkeys top up card method and stacked it on top of the 12 months PS plus + Battlefront deal i got last week.
The £30 top up was oos at the time, so i bought 2 £15 top up cards (£13.99 each) one at a time, through CDkeys, attaching the Facebook like 5% discount code each time, redeemed the codes in the PS store then purchased the 12 month PS plus Subscription.
Very tempted to get a 3rd year of PS plus at this price, but i might wait and see if this or similar comes up again next year.

Use the £15x2 codes (ignore this - £30 back in stock and discount only applies to one item) or the £35 code and keep the remainder for something in the future.
You're looking at the wrong item, need to purchase PSN credit first then buy the PS+ sub off the PSN store with that credit.
Nope they don't expire (when you've redeemed them), they keep stacking and won't expire as long as PSN exists.

Does anyone know if PS Plus memberships "expire"?
I already have PS Plus membership till November and have another 12 months membership to add via Card - so I'm pretty much sorted till November 2018.
I was just wondering maybe adding another 12 months to take membership up to November 2019....

Probably, but that's not the worst thing in the world as it's only likely to go up in price so it's only if there are offers on from PSN that might work out better. I've recently bought 4 years worth myself from various promotions.

Managed to add 2 subs. First one went to the PSN Store (my current subs lapsed in Dec 18) added 1 that way, bought paid for, Subs now till Dec 19. Tried it again but came up as "add to wishlist", then went via the link in post #88
This allowed me to add a further year. So subs expire in Dec 2020. Just wonder if this is enough or should i just keep going for another yr or 2. This is such a good price i do not think it'll ever be this low again £27.63 (in my case)

Does anyone expect it to be near this price before the end of November? I've got a until then on my current sub, and whilst I want to buy this, I'm currently trying to save for other things

If you still have a good few months left on an existing membership does this top it up to +12 months on top of what you have?

Are u able to buy ps+ from the PSN store if you're currently subscribed to ps+?
ferrim
8 Jun 171#27
The posting isn't very clear, the way to get it for 26.59 is to buy the £30 credit from cdkeys which is currently 27.99 using the Facebook 5% discount to bring it down to 26.59. Then you use this to purchase ps+ for 30 from the ps store

Might get it at this price. Never used ps plus before though, what do you get?

You need it to play online with other players (PS4) but not for the PS3 or Vita. You also get 2 games for each platform every month that can only be played as long as you subscribe to the service. This is what we have this month. You also get cloud storage to back up your save files.
As you said you never used PS Plus before, you should be eligible to this offer if it's still going.

£28.50 is HOT but £26.59 would be SMOKING!

Have you got your calculations right? You've said £1.50 saving (5% off £30) but price listed in OP is £26.59?

Voted hot, mainly for Buzz's patience with the div's lol
But like I say, I suggest waiting until midnight to double check.

Mate. I stated in the post that you need to use the Facebook discount, it knocks 5% off their listed price.

This isn't the price at cdkeys though - it's not showing at this amount at cdkeys and there's no guarantee it will?

I doubt it mate, but I've not heard anything. This is a part of their Play Days promotion which runs until the 18th. Apparently there are things happening to PS+, but I'd expect the price to go the other way.
Opening post
Bit of a heads up really. We all know that Sony are dropping the price of a 12 month subscription to PlayStation Plus by £10 to £29.99 at midnight...
On this premise and using CDKeys with their 5% Facebook page discount, you can drop the price down to just £26.59. It's not a massive saving, but it's a £1.50 saving.
I'd inform you at the time, but I'll be off playing DiRT 4.

You then log into your psn account and enter the code you got from cdkeys; this will credit your psn account by £30/35.
You then buy the 12 month psn extension from psn itself (not from cdkeys).
I purchased this one myself:
£35 PSN Card for £31.89 before discount
5% off CDKeys from facebook
£29.99 Playstation Plus 12 Month Membership
The £30 top up was oos at the time, so i bought 2 £15 top up cards (£13.99 each) one at a time, through CDkeys, attaching the Facebook like 5% discount code each time, redeemed the codes in the PS store then purchased the 12 month PS plus Subscription.
Very tempted to get a 3rd year of PS plus at this price, but i might wait and see if this or similar comes up again next year.
.
You're looking at the wrong item, need to purchase PSN credit first then buy the PS+ sub off the PSN store with that credit.
Nope they don't expire (when you've redeemed them), they keep stacking and won't expire as long as PSN exists.
I already have PS Plus membership till November and have another 12 months membership to add via Card - so I'm pretty much sorted till November 2018.
I was just wondering maybe adding another 12 months to take membership up to November 2019....
Thank you
As im sure most would, I'll jump off a bridge saying "HOTTTTTTTTTTTUUKKKKKKKKKDEALLLLLLllllllllllllllssssssssssssssssssssssss...........................*SPLAT*!!!!!
I raised a support case with $ony at the time I had the problem and they got back to me just now:
Given their track record, I don't know what I was hoping for but I didn't expect an outright lie.
Genuine question: has anyone ever got satisfaction from a query or complaint with PlayStation support?
"If you don't mind a bit of left over credit, the £35 CD Keys code is better value.
With the 5% facebook code you save 13.4% compared to 11.4% for the £30 code.
Yes I have a very sad spreadsheet set up.
Every little helps."
If he can't afford it all at once however, that's another matter!
Just tried via the PS4 and it prompted me to put a card in.
I gave it an empty prepay card and it was happy to carry through to checkout
Well diagnosed - thanks
edit: yes, go to orders, then click the item/order for it, then activate code and it will show the PS+ code.
Same with the password @ checkout setting too :disappointed:
Just tried to do it through the PS4 and seems to be working but it wants me to add a credit card or PayPal account. Does this mean I can't use my wallet to pay for it? I never want to add my credit card or PayPal in case my account ever got hacked.
With the 5% facebook code you save 13.4% compared to 11.4% for the £30 code.
Yes I have a very sad spreadsheet set up.

This allowed me to add a further year. So subs expire in Dec 2020. Just wonder if this is enough or should i just keep going for another yr or 2. This is such a good price i do not think it'll ever be this low again £27.63 (in my case)
Shame as I have £30 in my PSN wallet, oh well the shopto deal is almost as good.
There is the option to just buy a code from Amazon or ShopTo if you want to get in while this deal is going. It's only going to cost a few quid extra.
Edit: does stack if you have a card registered to the account (I used an empty prepay card)
Apply Facebook 5% code.
Add credit to account on PSN and buy PS+
If it didn't go through, I'd suggest trying to subscribe in another browser or: open an incognito mode browser window in your browser, then logging in to store.playstation.com , then trying the subscription link.
Thanks guys, I was starting to panic

So I guess it is coming but in typical SCEE fashion you'll just have to wait.
Seems like PS Plus is not going to be on offer in PS Store. Probably as it's the only way to get Star Wars Battlefront UE for free.
Just adding to the speculation here but if you follow the "shop now" link with that promo banner Buzz posted, it shows three retailers:
So it might be just exclusive deals for those shops. I guess we'll find out later.
P.S: ignore the duke pal. He's been around ordering mods to ignore him all the times. Soon he is gonna ask mods to ban one of us too (As he always does...)
Still £39.99 on PS4 store. I'm sort of hoping it doesn't show up because I already bought one sub off ShopTo. If this deal goes alive, I'll end up having PS+ for 3 years.
Nobody knows and it's always possible but I wouldn't count on it. I don't remember seeing a good price like this in a long time. Been a couple years since I saw Sony adding the PS+ to their sale which retailers are taking part in too. So I think the best time to buy it is now before the price goes back up just in-case we may never see it again for some time.
"On this premise and using CDKeys with their 5% Facebook page discount, you can drop the price down to just £26.59. It's not a massive saving, but it's a £1.50 saving."
It's in the title, too : PlayStation Plus: 12 Month Membership - £26.59 (Using CDKeys) - PlayStation Store (Starts Midnight)
As you said you never used PS Plus before, you should be eligible to this offer if it's still going.
My apologies...
But first go here and get the 5% discount code to drop it to £26.59 : https://www.facebook.com/cdkeyscom/app/393344207416996/
But like I say, I suggest waiting until midnight to double check.
