I bought it for 20.89 yesterday. I won't be able to sleep again knowing the money I could've saved.
Excellent game by the way. Nerve wrackingly scary but very fun. Can't wait to see how it is once it's out of early access etc. Heat!

wish Ubi would just do their own Battle Royale add on for Wildlands. Remove NPCS, a number of vehicles, reduce the ara to a few parts of the map, remove Helis and jobs a goodun, but instead with have **** like Fallen Ghosts DLC

Said it before and I'll say it again, well worth the money, even at full price. Monthly patches with additional content, weekly patches with bug fixes, and still in early access. The developers communicate really well with the players too, such a tense game, and I'm looking forward to the new map being introduced in a few months. Enjoy that chicken dinner guys!

I nearly bought it last week but held off as I practiced on keyboard and mouse on Team Fortress 2 - vowing to wait til it went sub £20. Wasn't expecting it so soon though! Can't wait to get stuck in.

It's a hard game, brutal intact. Very addictive. I stream it daily and don't get bored of it. Highly recommended. Two new maps coming very soon. Would say it's more playable with less flaws than many finished games. It's a steal.

Not entirely sure how early access games work, is this game likely to fall in price over the next couple of months or year or two?
magicmike87 to zakkyb
3 Jun 171#9
Don't quote me but I don't see it getting much cheaper. Certainly as they add more maps and it gets closer to full release it'll stay at a higher price.

Yep. You're buying the full game but signing up to the fact it may be buggy at the moment due to being early access.

Can't believe this, I only bought it earlier this afternoon when it was £21.99 (minus FB discount)
Great game though. Played a few rounds in duo with a mate this afternoon. Tense game, very hard but really addictive. Can be very tactical which I like

Can you play this with a controller?
magicmike87 to FrankieThePanda
4 Jun 17#15
Yes. It's not fully supported but there is a workaround. I will link you in a bit.
However, there are disadvantages and playing controller vs someone with keyboard and mouse - you'd likely come off worse.
If you open Steam in big screen mode and go to the controller configuration settings on the screen where you launch the game you can choose one of the community profiles. I'm using my Xbox One controller. It's playable but you really are at a massive disadvantage. But I'm terrible with KB+M so it's the only alternative for me.

I have become obsessed with this game. I was playing solo and loving it, so tense as it has a "hunger games" idea of kill everyone you see.
I talked a few friends into buying it, and playing in a small group is insanely fun and addictive.
Despite the early access tag, it's in a good state as it is now and they have a lot of financial backing now the game has done as well as it has. New maps coming, new weapons are added monthly and it runs perfect for me.
I have the settings on medium/high/ultra at 1080p and get 80-140 FPS and that's with a 980ti, 7600k and 16gb RAM.
Get this game bought, you will have more fun than you've had on the AAA titles that have recently been huge fails.

I got it for £22 at release which was a decent saving, but I would have paid £30 if I had to, and in hindsight of playing for nearly 150 hours now, id have paid £40+ for it, waiting this long, you have missed out big time, but game is still getting even more popular, so welcome to erangel

I agree, the terrain isn't too nice looking on the eyes but it there are 100 players on each game, it's done for performance i'd say.
The objects/actors look great, so buildings and vehicles are great quality, the explosions in the red zone are stunning.

Just chiming in to say this was the best game I've bought in quite some time (that's with a 500+ game library on Steam).
It's so intense, scary and nerve destroying. I absolutely recommend playing in a group though. Performance wise it has improved massively in the last few weeks. Noone in my group has any issues anymore with lag however the desync is still there, despite the issues it is still fantastic and great fun.
If anyone is looking for people to play it with- chilled out people are always welcome in our squad of brits. Feel free to PM for my Steam!

Put over 160 hours into this so far. great game. Ignore comments about graphics, this one is all about gameplay. Not sure why some people are having issues running it though. I'm using a laptop and get a steady 60-70 Fps (it does drop at the begining of a game for 10-15 seconds).

I paid full price about a month ago, at the time the chatter was it would not be discounted in the near future, or until final public versions have been released for a period of time, And if anything the price would increase with the final version.
This is a very playable game as is, the recent update has improved frame rates for me significantly, I now get 60fps average, dropping to 45fps in tougher render scenarios, same settings were 45/27 pre the last monthly update.
I'm using low setting for everything except medium for render distance, using Intel i5 3570 and GTX 660ti @1080
I got into this game watching youtube live streams by ONE_shot_GURL and 5tat, both from the USA and Blue Beard Clan from Scotland. I think you should check the live streams out to get an idea if this game is for you or not.
