I have one. It's a good price for a not good device. As a shaver it's useless although as a beard trimmer it's just about okay. Forget fine neck lines though.

I'm guessing at that price for postage, you are in Ireland? I've seen that price come up for others on other items.

I've always found their Customer Service really good, never had to pay return postage, give them a ring 01792 452660.

Cordless only. It's a wet use shaver so, thinking about it, it's a sensible decision from Philips.
I had never tried to use it corded until I read your post - it didn't work.
