Looks like a decent lease deal. 179.99 a month for 12 months only + £300 admin fee. can't comment on the car itself but seems useful for families maybe. £2459.88 for a new car for one year..

The none turbo version of this engine is ok in a 108 but will be lacking in this. 82hp is not really enough and in the real world will make a big impact on the MPG.

The wife has this car. Have averaged 41mpg since new on a mix of town and open roads - and the missus isn't the most 'economical' driver. So not the worst.
Power is lacking a little bit but it's not actually as bad as you would think.
Couple of pointers:
The clutch on ours has a ridiculously high biting point which makes smooth getaways tricky sometimes
The boot isn't overly large and our big pushchair pretty much fills it - leaving very little space for anything else
The 82 BHP unit only has a 5 speed gearbox. This limits comfortable motorway driving to around 65-70 mph. More than this and gets quite noisy.
All in, it's a pretty good car and if it's the sort of small crossover you are looking for it's defiantly worth further consideration. Not going to win any races and certainly not a sports car but a good, cheap small family car

Surprisingly hot! If it was the same total over two years it would be. My Panda was about that and considered a bargain at the time. Opinions on what is a bargain seem to be different these days.

So you had to scrap a two year old car. I assume you got all of your money back? Extrapolating your issues to the whole of the brand doesn't actually prove that you yourself "know what you're talking about".
Peugeot's are more reliable, based on warranty claims, than many German brands

I had a look at a few Peugeot's a couple of years back, but in the end decided I couldn't put up with the unconventional cabin dials, which were hard to read when I adjusted the steering wheel for a comfortable driving position. Although the cabin quality wasn't the absolute best in class, it was by no means the worst either.
This is a decent deal if you're only after a short term lease, and don't mind the lack of power on offer.

I have to say - hot . Purely for the deal, forget your own choice of car brand loyalty, size or power . It's a good deal to a person looking for a cheap short term lease.
We need more leases than the one or two per week on here - but I reckon people are scared off by the people whom comment "cold because it's an ugly car" or the like. It's an ugly car to you, but another might like it and therefore is a good deal to them.
Let's encourage more lease deals - I am looking for a cheap ST deal as last year they were circa £199 per month now I can only see them for £300!

I wonder if last year's ridiculously cheap lease deals are a thing of the past. this time(ish) last year I saw well spec'd VW golf autos for well under the 200 quid a month mark (160ish I recall) inclusive of all admin fees for a 2 year lease with around 8-10k miles! Sods law I didn't need to get my own car last year!!

i get 42 out of my 1.6T Fiesta ST on mixed driving so from a 1.2 thats pretty rubbish
which in my opinion is still poor from a 1.2L, granted it's a bigger car but still.

Fleet prices have it for the same cost but only £118.80 admin fee! Making it even cheaper still. Just ordered one for the misses and they have many solid colours left. Got my seat Leon from them too so I know they are a decent company to use ... however the admin fee may of gone up now but worth asking as they told me they may be extending it (meaning they will if you push)
