Morning guys. EA currently have a bit of a sale on, some good prices, some not so much. Remember you can save an additional 10% by taking up the current offer of the 7 day FREE Origin Access trial. Please remember to cancel your subscription as soon as you have taken it up to avoid future costs.
for anyone that hasn't played battlefield 3. I highly recommend u get it. Its still alive on pc which shows just how good a game it was and at that price for premium u can't go wrong.

Does it have many online players? And which version would be most active? That or battlefield 1? Stopped buying call of duty games due to dead online servers after a couple months.

Honestly, I bought it and very quickly wished that I hadn't. Sadly I bought it from CD Keys rather than Origin as well so refunding it wasn't an option.

Battlefront ultimate edition for under £8 (using the Access trial) easily looks to be the best deal here, might finally pick this one up. Bet there's a few base game owners a bit ticked off the season pass is basically the same price on its own though.

Make sure you test the Origin client before spending your money. None of these games will work unless the Origin client can load and connect to the Origin server. If an update to the Origin client is required, you can't used any games until the client has been updated. In my experience, update to the Origin client regularly break it on some hardware making it impossible to use any games until a future update eventually fix the problem. It is not possible to use an old version of the client that is known to work.

Origin is flawless for me, if you have decent internet its all good.

Minor note - you won't get the extra 10% off from Access for Titanfall 2 (which was randomly excluded from all Access benefits for some reason) in case that matters to anyone.

Is battlefield 1 worth the price for £20? (assuming I Cound take it down to £18 with the trial)
Also, is it worth getting the season pass cause I've never really paid over £40 for a game before

Battlefield 1 is well worth that price! Not sure about the season pass though

How come? Personally think the gameplay is unreal, the added skill based movement compared to the first one makes it even more fun.

Why no DLC on sale or ultimate edition for Amalur :disappointed: Feel like playing that game again.

The client is fine but the update routine is abysmal. Gog Galaxy had the same problem. If you don't get the bug it's really nice but if you do, you'll be leaving fist marks in your desk (Origin is particularly annoying - you have to go dig out a full size installer from third party software sites to fix it). At least they are visually well designed unlike Steam! /moan

Actually on a 5k monitor Origin is horrible, have all sorts of problems with scaling, flickering etc. Download speeds are really great though
Heat for deal, but I'm one who has battlefront for kids and wish the dlc pass was properly discounted as the ultimate edition is...

Is TitanFall 2 ruined already ? or worth playing ?
IE: TitanFall was a good game, but including the "Smart Pistol" gun ruined it, as its almost the same as using an Aimbot, hence game barely has any players......
Is the same gun in TitanFall 2 ?????

* Titanfall 2 still has people playing it
* Titanfall 2 has a single player campaign which is phenomenal
* Titanfall 2 still has the "Smart Pistol" but they changed it's availability. Its available on a timely basis (its not a weapon that you can run around the whole match with). You have to kill a lot of people with your normal gun and then you have access to the "Smart Pistol" for a period of time (something like that).
* All DLC released so far has been free (and will always be free)

I just didn't like the controls or the gameplay and massively preferred the first one. Unfortunately it doesn't seem like many people play either anymore. I loved the first Titanfall but the multiplayer FPS I play most these days is BF1 and I can't really see myself going back to TF2 again anytime soon tbh.
