I think people are missing the point where you've said "Amazon Household". So I assume you dont have Prime... but someone in the house does.

Just because you're one of the extended/family things where you can also get the delivery... you cant have Prime Benefits. Thats just for the account holder.

Can you redeem against a battlenet account if you don't have the game yet? Eg redeem and they will be there when you get and use the game later on? Or is the game required to create the battlenet account? It's on my "to purchase list" at the next sale

Yeah works exactly the same. Just follow the instructions, redeem code on blizzard once your Xbox account is linked, and they'll show up in Overwatch

Can you do the same for Xbox?

Tells you how to get on PS4 here. You have to link your PSN account to a battle.net account and redeem code on battle.net website. Should then just show up on PS4 copy of overwatch.
