its cheaper and environmentally friendly to just use the cheapest vinegar possible. For example add roughly 200ml of vinegar to your kettle . leave it in neat for a bit and then add water till you reach the maximum level in your kettle. leave for an hour and then boil the kettle. Tip contents out and fill with fresh cold water. Boil again. tip out. Repeat process with clean water twice more and tip out. Voila a squeaky clean kettle

I concur! This is what I use, it is brilliant and just as easy as using the sachets of liquid oust. I would also assume it's less harsh smelling/tasting than vinegar.

Or instead of vinegar or citric acid, just stick some lemon juice in your kettle (I know lemon juice is itself a citric acid :wink: ), leave it for 5 minutes or heat it up to get it working really quickly.

Can these be use to descale tassimo machine? It says suitable for item made with stainless steel material only.

Good price. Thunk I'll get a few to use later on as I nornally use vinegar but this stuff does work
