I just found this and thought it a good, cheap way of enabling bluetooth streaming on an old stereo. Very simple to set up. Comes with power adapter and a couple of audio cables. Can be used in the car too.
Instore at Sainsbury's Maypole Birmingham. There were quite a few on the shelf

Don't those cheap ones need charging? I have one that if I hook up to a power supply buzzes through the audio...I mean unusably badly

Both those have low quality streaming, you want something with at least apt-x if you're bothered about what the sound is like.

Probably not. I'd assume it's just a special at that store. Can't find it on the website.
