Squeenix don't like putting Final Fantasy on sale, and Nintendo have a clear evasion of reducing anything Mario related. But here we are, Nintendo have Sega titles on sale :disappointed:

That's cool, I think the motion blur was a drawback of the GG's screen though.
Really want to pick up those classic collections, if only for a slightly 3d puyo puyo!

You can change the frame colour, add the horrible motion blur the original games had, and change the performance from original to "special", which I assume ups the fps if it originally dropped on the gg. There's also button mapping and local wireless multiplayer on some games. I don't think Nintendo had anything to do with it, that's why they're good! Similar to the 3D classics ones they did.

What other screen options are there? Glad theres a ton, Nintendo usually skimps out on this.

Them Wii U game prices are too high, Nintendo are so greedy

I never understood these games. Sonic moves way too quick to see what you're doing it's ridiculous

On 3DS, for the original two games, is there any reason to opt for the standard versions over their "3D" equivalents?

No, the "3d" games are the original mega drive sonic 1&2 we all know and love. Whilst the "standard" ones are the game gear versions, which are actually completely different games.

More likely to promote sonic mania coming out in august.

It's because the 23rd was Sonic's anniversary. They have sales on that date every year.

After all these years I still find it strange playing Sonic on Nintendo :disappointed: Still dream about Sega returning to the console market!

Well if you ask me it could have done with a lot more classic levels as well as a greater emphasis on the handheld titles especially the 'Advance' games. Really lame that they did the pseudo over the shoulder 3D aspect view for the modern levels too. Can't the 3DS handle GameCube quality graphics!?

Nah, three months in you'd expect some of the toss-off products to be up there. Considering they're doing that wierd free year of subscription service thing, just *something* that attaches to that.
I was just thinking that I ought to put some proper time into some of the Sonic games at some point... this might be the perfect way to do so. :man:

You're joking right? It'll be about 3 years before the first Switch sale, and even then there won't be any "proper" Nintendo games on sale.

Thanks for the handy list!
Does anyone know if the Game Gear games are ridiculously zoomed in like they were on Sonic Gems Collection?

They've actually got a ton of options - you can have it zoomed but you can also have a 1:1 pixel option with a border like on the game boy vc games
