Yes its similar to the karcher one. Theres also other things to consider like the amount of soap your putting, the type of soap, and whether the soap is made to foam as most of them aren't. My advice is to get a HD foam lance from somewhere like Autobrite Direct as you can adjust it to get the type of foam your require and you normally buy it with a small bottle of foam.

Does anyone else think the snowfoam lance is terrible , overly dilutes the mixture

11 Jun 17#98
Pretty sure it's brand new. If it wasn't then it was manufacturer refurbished as accessory packs were sealed and clearly never used. Also plastic caps on the hose connectors etc. So no, doesn't look refurbished.

8 Jun 171#94
I didn't order it as I missed out. I was mainly wanting it for the rotary brush as you use that tool to wash your car. It is good for £40 but I would have been annoyed at not getting the brush part considering that's what was advertised. Granted, it looks like the seller made a mistake but it was a mistake that misled buyers. The seller should at least offer a return at their expense or partial refund. That way they can make a positive outcome to a silly error and at least get good feedback from the buyers. Surely the partial refund would be cheaper than the postage costs for returns. just sharing what I think anyway
tonez
8 Jun 171#93
I know it's the principle of it but Is the item not worth keeping for £40? Is the rotary brush not being included really a deal breaker? I'm not attacking, I'm actually interested as I also purchased this item & have no real clue about what I have ordered except that it is a pressure washer & I need one for car, patio cleaning etc...

I think they are legally required to pay for return postage as item was not as described either in the description or photo used. I think I will return mine and pay a bit more and get the newer model.

There are a few differences.
This machine has a higher flow rate than the Karcher, 440l/hr compared to the Karchers 360l/hr.
Also the Nilfisk has an aluminium pump head so should last longer than the karchers which generally have an all plastic pump.
The Karcher has only a 3metre hose compared to the Nilfisks 5metres.

6 Jun 17#75
I ordered this, thanks OP. Just out of interest, how does this compare to the Karcher one sold by Tesco in the link below:

Deleteaccount
5 Jun 171#48
Then if it is supply and demand, capitalism, business etc, then why is it wrong for a person to purchase as cheaply as possible. Why put someone down for trying to grab a bargain but then applaud business for upping the price as and when it suits them?

That is a ridiculous statement.
The seller noticed that his stock was selling quickly and that it has appeared on this site and no doubt other sites on the net, so what does the seller do, he puts the price up by £5 as he/she knows that it will still probably sell and they will make an extra £5 on top of previous price of £39.99. To me personally, that is the seller being greedy by piutting the price up.
Why and how would the buyer be greedy if they want to purchase the item at a previously stated price that was cheaper only mins earlier. I could understand if the item sold out and then the new stock was at a higher price but that does not seem to be the case here.

I've had 2 of these.
The first one sprung a leak on the hose after minimal friction on ground contact.
I took it back but when i got the replacement i protected the hose with a length of hosepipe duct taped around it. That was about 5 years ago.
I found the patio cleaner to be very good, however i now struggle to get proper use from it as it doesn't sit well on the lance so a lot of pressure is lost out of the side of the lance connection.
On the whole, even taking into consideration its shortcomings, its a decent piece of tackle.
