great phone. I have one but only issue is the damn Bluetooth doesn't always form a solid connection and often drops. I am now thinking of changing it. having searched online shows it's a common problem with no fix

This is cheaper than what I paid for my Moto z play with student discount last September. And the Z comes with the JBL speaker, alongside any style shell! I'm aware the Z2 is coming out soon, but this Z is now half price of what the Z2 will be. For me it's a no brainer at £289.

I've had this phone a couple of weeks so with the added mod and case this is a fantastic buy. I was concerned about the battery but Nougat handles apps and background drain very well. I get about a day with average usage so alongside the quick charge don't let the battery put you off. The phone is quick and lag free. Finger print scanner works nicely and gesture control is a nice addition. I have an aftermarket case for added protection but it feels and looks like a premium phone. Seems to pick up a much stronger signal (especially 4G) than my Z2 on the same network. At this price with the freebies it's a no brainer. Only annoying thing is I wanted a spare charger for work and Motorola don't sell them! Make sure you get a USB C charger for Turbocharge. I picked up the Anker PowerPort +1 for £18 off Amazon. As mentioned charging is superfast, about 1 hour from empty to full charge, but even 15 mins gives you several hours usage. As usual the better deals come out once I've purchased!

Mano8's comments above suggest the bluetooth connection for audio is hit and miss unfortunately....

Known fault - with no fix or remedy - delete caches/factory reset and pray as if it's intermittent then it will fail and you will have to send back and await 30day repair.. I will chase for mine on Monday and demand cash back to buy a Samsung and flog off the tumi wireless battery pack - avoid Motorola

My orders shipped, didn't realise was coming direct from China! Going to be over a week via FedEx just incase anyone wondering how long will take to come. Est time when dispatched was Friday(email was sent yesterday) , now saying via FedEx Wednesday next week :-/

Mine arrived today (ordered last Saturday) and so far I'm sorry to say I'm a little disappointed. Looks very premium, but the phone is a little uncomfortable in the hand and it heats up quite a bit and that's just browsing the web. Tried Minecraft and had to switch it off after a few minutes. Not sure if to send it back as I believe you can return it within 14 days. Not having much luck with phones as I got this to replace a broken lg g4, which incidentally I tried to replace originally with a xiaomi redmi note 4 but it never arrived from China. Starting to think I'll stick with my trusty Nexus 4 for a while longer!

mine arrived too, too bad they forgot to put the jbl mod and the wood moto shell into the box...so i received the phone only.

Still installing my apps and getting ready to send my nexus 6p back to warranty. I'll decide what to do with the phone once the nexus came back. I like the phone so far and i reckon for 290 with the moto mods is an amazing deal. Worst case scenario i'll sell it on Gumtree/fleabay and get a oneplus.

Just wanted to add, this deal was available on the weekend again 7 8 9 July. Ordered it and was happy as monkey for its tail. Then appallingly the order got hold and been advised to contact customer service. Which is absolutely incabaple to do anything. Now have received an email saying order remains cancelled of which was news to me. Altoguh they hold on the my money as well. Funniest part is for security reasons cannot let me know why it was cancelled. They must be thinking you cheapstake not gonna get this device for £190 below original price, but let me say this i think that is how much worth that phone. Thanks for letting me ventillate my fury.
