I originally posted this just over 3 weeks ago @ £1.50. The prices have now been axed even further to £1.00.
Limited stock, not available everywhere. Though they do have a stock locator for C&C, it takes two minutes to check, it saves you going on a wild goose chase.

I wouldn't say the 'stock checker' saves you time ..... on 3 occasions I have used it and gone to local store to be told stock had been sent to another store and stock levels not updated...... frustrating to say the least!!

Yeah I wouldn't trust the C&C or stock checker. I purchased a nice kitchen tap half price at £64 using gift cards on C&C to Aintree, got a call the next day to say they had no stock even though was still available to C&C on website. Because I paid by gift card they couldn't refund automatically I had to waste a journey to get a £64 credit note which can only be used in store and not online. Wasn't amused :disappointed:

Thanks OP These look good but the axe head is not very solid and you Cannot strike any part of it as you would with a better quality one, to drive the head through the wood

I ordered a full handle one a couple of weeks back. Stock checker said it was in stock, took my money.
Next day received an email thanking ME for canceling MY order., when I had not. They had no stock and refunded my account.
About time B&Q did a stock check, they would probably find half their stuff is missing?

You can probably get bin liners, a cheap bath and some dissolving acid while you're in the store.

It was oos 2 weeks ago everywhere I looked and is still oos now. Even if the B&Q website said it was in stock, I would not ytisy them. Ring the store before you waste your petrol.

Comments above help people from other countries better understand why UK laws have been put in place to limit the amount of paracetamol tablets one is allowed to purchase or why you are required to leave your address details when buying a goldfish....or have be an adult to purchase a sharp tool.
To clarify - this product is used for chopping wood. It's being referred to as an axe, I would classify it as a hatchet.
