These have become a bit of a joke...M&S Dine In For Two Kids more like, most meal options have become laughably small! And the wine would strip paint off the walls no problem...started off as a great idea though!

If you put the Wotwine app on your smartphone (assuming you have one of course) and you get the wine list from the staff, then you can sort the wheat from the chaff. Some of the wine they put out for those who don't look very hard is as you say pretty poor, but there are usually some better ones as well.

The dining in refers to your home not their store! Heavens above!

There is the possibility of getting this deal a little cheaper if the sparks card has the gastropub offer of 20% off and (obviously) you choose one of the gastropub offerings.

Never done before. Is it a share main? So both of you have to have same main?

No rotisserie chicken? That's a shame. Love those, and if you can bag a big one (they vary between 1.3 and 1.8Kg) then it does Sunday dinner for 4 with left-overs for the kids sandwiches in the week. They're normally £7, so you can't argue with a side, pudding and bottle of wine for £3, even if the wine isn't that spectacular.

Steak or beef joint?
Can't see the beef joint being very big.
Always a good deal when the steaks are on with this £10 offer.

I saw the beef joint today & it looked a decent size, with a price tag of over £7. It would make a decent Sunday roast for more than 2 people

if you buy 2 deals & choose 2 tubs of ice cream for the desert option, another £1 comes off, (as there is currently an ice cream (selected flavors) offer of £4 each or 2 for £7), so you get 2 deals for £19.

Al the beef joints appeared to be £7.19 in my local, so take the one you fancy, which I did.
Unusual not to take the steaks, but fancy a change.
The 'free' wine priced at £9 was a tad OTT, but I had a £2 voucher (Sparks), so £8 was a bigger bargain.

The stonebaked pizza and prosecco is my fave deal... the pizzas are very good. However the deal seems to be really sporadic.
