Product Description The Logitech MX Anywhere 2 Wireless Mouse/Bluetooth Mouse for Windows and Mac provides high performance anywhere and everywhere you work, with laser tracking sensor, six customisable buttons and dual Bluetooth Smart technology/USB unifying wireless receiver. The mobile wireless mouse is equipped with a battery that you can quickly charge and that will last up to 2 months when using the mouse 6 hours a day.
MX Anywhere 2 mouse is the best mouse I've used, allowing me to easily switch to using my computer or my laptop quickly without fiddling with any adaptors.
I haven't used the MX Master before, but it gets even better reviews.
Prices are reduced since the new model 2S is out, but doesn't come with too many changes at double or more the price
Great deal but I find that Logitech mice seem to get dodgy microswitches after some time. I've had 4 that all had the same problem over the years. Funnily enough I've got a cheap Logitech wired mouse that hasn't failed on me yet!

Not sure what you mean by microswitches, but I've not had a logitech fail on me yet, I've had a logitech M230 mouse (maybe?) for about 5 years, somehow it's still working, even after dropping it many times

Played counterstrike and other games on this, all seems fine, though I've never used a gaming mouse, so i wouldn't even know the difference

It's not a gaming mouse, but Logitech do offer several gaming mice such as the G502

+1, not had a semi decent logitech fail on me. Still got a g518 from maybe 10-12 years ago and still going strong...
Only time I retire them is when I lose the dongle...

Thanks! Had my eye on one of these for dual boot mac (with Linux) as got the keyboard that does 3 but this mouse was just too much. Reasonable price now.

had one of these (MX Anywhere 2) for over a year.
PRO: highly customisable (via 'logitech options' app, which has fairly regular updates) on-the-fly change between smooth and clicky scrolling connect via Bluetooth or USB dongle (for those who's bluetooth is one of the earlier models) good recharge time and battery length
USB connects at the front so can use whilst charging (unlike some mice - cheers Apple!) wirelessly connect to 3 different devices via select button on bottom of mouse
mid-size mouse so ideal for small-medium sized hands
CONS:
none, unless you've large hands

If you've got small/medium size hand, this is great. I have had the first gen and now this second gen, the hardware is top notch. I like that this version offers both bluetooth and dongle option, as well as the ability to connect to 3 different devices via bluetooth! Highly recommend!

btw the 'Stone' coloured MX Anywhere 2 is also down to the same price and as it usually retails £20 more than the black it's an even greater saving.

have the awesome performance mouse, great for everything and not bad for gaming for a wireless mouse. aldo had the original version of this mouse which was good

100% agree - superb mouse, but small, which is not a surprise as it a notebook companion mouse and I suppose its meant to be portable.
I regularly use the ability to connect to mutiple devices, my only minor complaint is that the button to swap is on the bottom...
