Price dropped from £279 to this. The only competitor it has is the Mi5S which has a better camera and NFC, but is £15 more expensive and has an unreliable fingerprint reader and no Band 20. For those who care more about B20 than NFC, this seems great and it's on Nougat officially. Full English language support too.
£270 now pleased I made the decision, already despatched.

Actually, I don't think there has been official confirmation from Lenovo that this is happening. It was the word of an analyst. Article here<< about it which also claimed that Lenovo would start branding all its new phones under the Lenovo Moto name even though this recent article<< shows that the Lenovo CEO denied that would be the case. No mention about the future of ZUK from official sources. However the analyst who said it would be shutting down, incorrectly stated Redmi Note 4 would not get Snapdragon variant<<.

Also just to add, while Zuk is closing, ZUI will be used in Chinese Motorola devices which means the Zuk phones should still see updates
Maybe because Lenovo announced last April that ZUK sub brand was closing, not turning a profit. This Phone £400 on Amazon and was £450 back in January when first released, absolute bargain for a 821 Chipset. Won't be a lot of support in the future I guess but its already on Nougat.

Great deal ordered for wife. Actually came up as £191 for me plus free basic case and paid the extra £9 for extended warranty meaning you can swap out for new one if anything fails on the phone. Heat added.

Now up to 140 quid but still an amazing spec for the money. Aliexpress usually the cheapest for the ZUK Z2

Which is preferable between this and the z2 pro? I'm not bothered about screen size or band 20 as I'm on 3, just performance and future proofing.
Can't decide between one of those or a mi5/mi5s

Sd820 vs sd821? Any users noticing much difference between the two?
This is a fantastic price btw, hats off for finding it!
Also TCB is 7.8% so £181.35 after Cashback.

No real difference in speed, large difference in battery. On the Mi5s I get up to 3 hours more SOT than the Mi5. The 821 heats less and will be better for battery, should make up the shortcoming of the battery size.

I find my Redmi Note 4 lasts as least as long as my P2 even though the battery is bigger on the P2.

Shame there is no NFC.

The only disappointment specs-wise is the 3100maH battery. I have the Lenovo ZUK Z2 which only cost 130 quid and even that has a 3500maH battery!

Once you get used to the 4100 battery on the Redmi 4 it'll be difficult to drop
