Daughter has this, bought for her at xmas for 149.99 and is a great tablet and battery is really good. To put it into perspective battery wise connected to my phones hotspot and watched movies all the way to alton towers (3hr drive) spent the night in hotel playing games on it. Watched another film on way to warwick castle (1hr 30 drive from hotel) and then watched another film or 2 on a 2hr 15 trip back home. Arrives home with 10%. Its 7000mah and could easily last a few days with general browsing on web stuff.

Android versions on tablet's do matter, and upgrades by manufacturers is normally very poor.
Exploits do come along and those get patched, but highly unlikely with android 5.0 ..

Not been tested to the limit to be honest, but half decent considering the quality of the screen. Couldn't put a number on it. Seems to last well whilst not being used too.

100% sure thanks. 1920x1200. It's also the same EAN code as the Argos deal (if you click on the blue one, which is what I have).
Got this for £99 at Tesco, 1 month ago, which was quite obviously a steal. It got to 44 degrees on here, but I appreciate being in-store and possibly not national makes it hard to vote hot. Based on anything else on the market, I'd probably still pay £139.
Great buy. Screen is awesome. The 2GB of RAM definitely makes a huge difference, versus other tabs with only 1GB. Sound could be louder, but not a deal breaker. Where it fails on loudness, it wins on being atmospheric. Not been tested with any processor sapping games, but handles HD video files, streaming, browsing and other games (think toddler/puzzle) very well.
Don't worry about it only having 16GB of internal storage. I have stuck a 64GB micro SD card in. Officially it only takes cards to max 64GB capacity, but it may work with higher. I've experienced that in the past with other tabs and phones.

GDB2222 Whether the android version matters or not depends what you'll use the tablet for and the apps you want to install on it. To say 'it doesn't really matter on tablets' implies that you only use your tablet to a very basic level.

Does this have an integrated combined microphone / headphone socket or just a standard 3.5 head phone socket?

Was this the same one being sold a while ago in Argos for £100???

No. There's 2 models. Both look identical but they have very different internals and screens. This is the better one.

I think that was the HD version, this one is full HD

Stupid question, possibly, but isn't Android 5.0 an old version of Android? They are up to 7.1 now. Why isn't this updated, and why would people be buying a tablet with an old version?

It's quite old but it doesn't really matter on tablets. It'd be a different story if this was a phone though.

Got one of these for £150 a few months ago, so a great deal. The tablet is fine and works well, although I am not a gamer or anything, just internet, you tube, e-mail etc.
I like the silicon cases for tablets/phones and there was a very limited choice for this particular tablet. The one I got, although it fits, the buttons are not easy to see or press.

Got one...is great...but I'm told not for gaming. Upgrading messes with the dolby sound.
