For sale on KitchenAid's eBay outlet at £249 - a lot for a mixer I grant you, but it's the cheapest I've ever seen a KitchenAid one, this is £449 elsewhere.
Equivalent everywhere else looks to be around £499..

I am looking at getting one of these for my wife's birthday. I have noted other places offer deals with added extras and even sometimes £50/£100. Am I likely to get anything cheaper than this or are prices inflated to pay for the extras?

Thanks just ordered. Kitchenaid have a cash back offer at the moment so I have just submitted my receipt for £50 cash back. Hopefully it's accepted.

A longer warranty is definitely worth having

I'd recommend the Kenwood Chef Titanium over a KitchenAid any day. The motors in them are so much better than the KitchenAid ones. The pair we have in work (busy outside catering company) are constantly in for repairs, whereas my Kenwood has been in use for years without any issues. Everyone's mileage may vary, but for me, I wouldn't buy a KitchenAid.

Hot.
I've got one and use it many times a week. I don't regret buying my kitchen aid at all.

I don't need one I have the kmix with 5 year warranty and cost me less than this refurb kitchenaid plus came with a free blender.
I was just commenting on the fact that for a kitchenaid it's a good price but for that kind of money I'd prefer a longer warranty. heat added anyway as you can't get them this price and this is from the manufacturer direct.

Mine arrived today and it's in mint condition - no different to new.

If it's not mint just return for refund? Could just be a return from someone who has changed their mind?
