A good reduction on a well reviewed knife.

ck-ks-3820-g.jpg

From Kershaw, designed by Todd Rexford, a solid "Injection" of awesome.

This is a limited stock special offer at this price.

The Kershaw Injection 3.0 is destined to become you new favourite pocketknife. It offers sleek good looks—from the tip of its classic drop-point blade to its 3D-machined G-10 handle.

The Injection is a collaboration between custom knifemaker Todd Rexford and Kershaw and the results are outstanding. Look for high- end custom details like decorative pivot hardware and machined thumbstuds. The G-10 handle has incised cutouts on each side, letting you see through to the stainless steel liners.

The G-10 is textured for a secure grip. Even the backspacer offers a custom touch; it's chamfered on the back end. Another nice detail is the inset lanyard pin so nothing interrupts the smooth line of the knife. The 7.6cm (3-in.) blade is the perfect size for so many day-to- day applications.

Built of high-performance 8Cr13MoV, it comes razor-sharp and holds its edge well. The manual opening is smooth and easy. Once open, the blade is secured with a steel locking liner. The pocketclip is reversible for left- or right-handed carry.

You mention not "cheap chinese tat" , but Sanrenmu make non locking models that fit your needs of having both a glass breaker and a roper cutter/ seat belt cutter and personally I've found them to be pretty good quality, especially considering their price point. 7095LUC-GI-T , 7098SUX-PP-T4 and 7094 STX-POH-T4 all meet your needs I believe if it's any help.

On an unrelated note I love the outrage some people have at the mere thought of a pocket knife these days, honestly I think for one week some people should have all knife removed from them and see how they manage. Then they might understand it's a tool and it doesn't make people a knife wielding nut job merely by carrying one on a daily basis.

Who needs to carry a pocket knife these days? What could possibly be the use?? And isn't it a crime if you get caught carrying one?
fr0d0 to jalp99uk
27 Jun 17 4 #15
It's illegal to carry a locking blade and a blade over 3" by UK law (this knife is both). You are permitted to carry it in public if you have a valid reason to use it at your destination... a camp on private ground for example. You should then carry it out of sight. Plenty of reason to carry a pocket knife, and many do.
digitalabacus to jalp99uk

i think the term pocket refers to the fact it will fit in there nicely, not that it is obligatory to keep it there at all times. it is a sad indictment of the state of the mentality of society that the assumption of this post is to promote violence because the exclusive use for a knife is to do harm! I'm sure people who spend a lot of time doing outdoor stuff have numerous uses for a nice sharp knife and yet have no history of violence just because they feel the need when a keen blade is in their grasp.

29 Jun 17 #58
I never said I was looking for a knife that locks, only one that can be used in emergencies. I'm fully aware a knife can't lock and the cutting edge must be below 3 inches, which I why I own a Spyderco knife, they seem to be made with the UK law in mind. However it's only a very basic utility knife.

My mistake, and thanks for pointing it out. I personally only take knives out of the home when I'm specifically need to use them.

Shame it's out of stock. Though I've been looking for something more for emergency situations, typically to keep in the car (so a seatbelt cutter and glassbreaker were important, see image) so difficult to find something at a reasonable price though that isn't Chinese tat.

I am shocked by the attitude of some of the posters on this thread. I've been carrying a Swiss Army Knife of one type of another on me at all times for over 30 years and end up using it most days for one small job or another. I have a lock knife in my tool kit and another in the lounge in the same box as my remote controls and other bits and pieces. They are just tools at the end of the day. Most stabbings are done with kitchen knives. Not pen knives.

I don't have the exact statistics, but I'm confident that the vast majority of knife crimes involve cheap kitchen knives and £5 machetes, Your average street dealer is not going to buy a high quality knife from a well known manufacturers, when it is inevitably going to end up being tossed in the undergrowth or ditched in someones wheelie bin.

This is a great deal for a great knife. As for all the loons that have decided to jump on the 'you idiot for posting' band wagon can simply go a do one. This is a quality product giving good value for money and is exactly what this site is for. The knife is an innate object and will do no harm. It's the idiot who chooses to do harm with it that's the problem - stop giving the person who posted it a hard time about posting it. They've done nothing wrong at all.

Kids were taught responsibility back then (could've done with teaching us not to try pushing a flimsy lock knife into a tree too, lol).

Never liked the scouts, but it did teach responsibility, and the importance of one's community/country.

We were far more together then, not dreadfully divided as we are now.

I don't understand people saying this should not be here. I like a a lot of people use a knife for camping and is always handy in the the toolbox for other jobs, not stabbing people! Going off this logic we should have no deals for kitchen knives either then as I suspect they are used in many more crimes.

Banning things like lock knives and drugs and all of the other "dangerous" items is all very well, in principle, the reality is that if someone really wants any of these things there are ways to get them.

Yes, these things are dangerous but only when used by people
Baz8755

It just shows how things have changed.

Back in my pre-teen years I would wear my sheath knife everywhere and spend hours playing in the woods cutting branches, attempting and failing to throw it into trees, having the occasional cut. All inspired by on-screen heroes such as Tarzan.

We all respected the police but would think nothing of walking past them wearing our knives.

30 years later all that has changed and now people get villified for posting deals on Facebook. Social media and the ultra PC brigade have ruined this country

Never trusted any locking knife after I almost cut my own fingers off with one.

When I was a kid almost all boy scouts had a little pocket knife for various tasks.
I was trying to push the knife into a tree, the lock failed and the blade snapped back on my fingers.

Fortunately it was only a boy scouts' knife and just cut my fingers - had it been something like this blade it would have taken them off.

Never trusted the mechanism of these things since that day.
