The Kenwood FP125 food processor is a simple and easy way to prepare small amounts of food. Choose from settings such as chopping and blending to process up to 1.4 litres of ingredients. The compact design is also great for those with limited storage and can be kept neatly on smaller work surfaces. The 1.4-litre capacity of this Kenwood food processor gives you ample room for portions of fruit, vegetables and other foods to help create a variety of meals. With 400W of power and a sharp stainless-steel blade, this food blender will also make light work of even tougher food. Use this silver Kenwood food processor for all your cooking-preparation needs. With attachments including a blade, whisk and shredding plates, this food blender can cut food as thick or as fine as needed. Slice, chop, whisk and grate with this food processor, which also has a pulse function to offer short bursts of full-power blending. To ensure your safety, this Kenwood food mixer has a fully interlocked bowl, meaning that the processor and its sharp accessories cannot turn on unless the bowl is fully locked in. Both the bowl and the lid of this food processor are dishwasher-safe for easy cleaning.

It's through Tesco groceries rather than Tesco direct, it's £34 on Tesco direct but 77p on Groceries. Kenwood spiraliser also only 76p (same one £23.20 down from £49.99 on Amazon at the moment)
You've ruined it. They will now have to 're correct the price and inform the stores of the missprice. Usually what happens is you turn up at the store and show a email/screenshot of the order and they can honour it depending on the store/manager. But now that they've been alerted, I doubt anyone will be successful. Thanks lol
Daisy_D
28 Jun 17#80

If you had read the rules that appear as you hover over the question mark it clearly states what the "guide price" means and goes on to explain you can get a refund upon collection if you're not happy with the final price. You could have just gone along with it and be open to what would happen upon collection instead of contacting them. Did you really think they'd say "oh yes we are intentionally selling these items for just less than a bag of peanuts?".

Another thing to worry about, these are being delivered from stock *in* the store. Do you really think that, even if the price is honoured, they'll have enough to fulfil every order, especially with certain people on here claiming to order ridiculous numbers? All this is from in-store stock.

The price is a guide price you actually pay the price in store were items are sent from on day delivered. You Don't have to accept items but they will have already taken payment from Bank account and will then refund so the bill for 20 is nearly £700
philphil61
28 Jun 171#115
Zero common sense by some ITT
Ordering multiple quantities (guessing 6 or more) (to sell on fleabay or "give as xmas pressies") will just alert their system/dispatchers = fail for every honest person wanting a bargain
Then some attempting to blame a new member because they made a phonecall is just a pathetic attempt to divert the real issue (as previously mentioned)
Well done OP but for future reference, if I was you and I came across this deal, I'd of kept my mouth shut until I had received the item then posted it - at least then you might actually get the bargain
Belaward
28 Jun 171#116
I've just rung Tesco and spoke to a lady the issue has been essulated as there in her words "has been a massive error in the pricing online" and that should the order go through that the stores would not honour the 77p price listed on the website as the item is still £34.50. She strongly advised to cancel the order as I would be charged the full price for the items. Hope this helps people.

Good old Tesco, take your order and contract isn't formed until they dispatch or deliver it and they tell you they will charge you full price now that's shocking. If I had ordered it would be an email to their CEO department.

On the phone to my lawyer and will be submitting a small claims court order. I should be on ITV1 next Thursday at 2pm.

Can you take a picture of your receipt so others can use it to prove that the items ordered should be delivered at that price

Update to my order, I ordered 2 of each, one for me and one for the mother in law, had the cancellation text last night, spoke to them via twitter and they said as a valued customer they would honour the price error, had the delivery booked for this morning 8-9 and I have just had them delivered and priced at the low glitch price. Good luck to anyone else who may get theirs throgh also.

no its not, they wouldn't charge you the correct price as that's not what you bought it at, they would normally cancel it.

IT WAS THEIR MISTAKE THEY MUST HONOUR THE PRICE OR THEY ARE FALSE ADVERTISING.

Not according to contact law. They only have to honour the price if they've taken your money. If they change mind before they take money, then tough.
paulandpam1
29 Jun 171#217
No they are not obliged to sell it at the price advertised if it's a misprice , you can SHOUT all you want but you ain't going to get one at that price.

Keith is right - I went to collect mine earlier and the invoice said £34.50 so I rejected it. Have checked credit card online and there was no debit for this amount or the low price either yesterday or today. If they'd debited the 77p and basket charge then I would have been able to argue my case but they hadn't so I can't. Lady told me they'd had 10 at my local store already this morning. Maybe one of the 1,200 Head Office staff being made redundant did it for fun

The people who ordered multiple amounts kinda wrecked it. A few could have been lucky as the computer system would not have picked up the added interest. when an item starts starts going nuts in multiple orders like that, people are going to start looking... The few ruined it for the many.

how do you work that one out, these items are picked instore and scanned instore as they are picked, I went in store picked ONE up and went to self scan till and it came up at full price, this was way before any had been picked for collection, and also way before lots of multi orders was placed

The price you'll pay for products is the price of the product on the day of delivery / collection across both online and in store purchases.
If they take more and my HTB ISA payment fails I'll not be happy at all (mad)
Thanks op! (highfive)
P.S Just bobbed a £40 Call of Duty DVD in there to avoid the minimum £4 basket charge; it's a small singular item so no hassle with paying for packing or multiple refunds.
A minimum basket charge of £4.00 will be added to baskets under £40.00.
So ordered 7 @ 16.29 pm from an extra store. Payment taken, lets see what happens.
Marvellous find Op

It doesn't say in the minimum basket rules section anything about refunds falling below the £40 minimum. It's a DVD so it's tiny, but if it's honoured I'll let you know for future reference.
Your Tesco.com grocery order confirmation
Ordered 3 for collection.
I'll show my confirmation email and hope.
It shows item not available when I looked at my order! Good luck to anyone that gets it (highfive)
Also Kenwood Spiralizer there for £0.76

Ordering multiple quantities (guessing 6 or more) (to sell on fleabay or "give as xmas pressies") will just alert their system/dispatchers = fail for every honest person wanting a bargain
Then some attempting to blame a new member because they made a phonecall is just a pathetic attempt to divert the real issue (as previously mentioned)
Well done OP but for future reference, if I was you and I came across this deal, I'd of kept my mouth shut until I had received the item then posted it - at least then you might actually get the bargain
just for the laugh!

They have covered themselves.
Can't understand why so many people are ordering crazy amounts! Keeping my fingers crossed!

Not sure will it be there for pick up?
My comment was to help people, I'm just as disappointed as everyone else...we all love a bargain on here!! Tesco we're already well aware if the situation when I rang.
Sorry, this product is currently not available
Game over. Always worth a punt though.
