Ordered then cancelled after reading reviews. Sticking with the hozelock 30m I ordered the other day which is still £28 on amazon

it's ok I had one but I went for Hozelock auto rewind as this one can get tangel and it's a pain to untangle and pack away, the Hozelock I got from screwfix 30m for £85, I know it's lots of money but it well worth it, put on the wall and made watering the garden and cleaning the car a pleasant and easy job

Also if you don't need the full 40m can you still leave it wound up on the reel while using it or will that affect water flow?

Will effect it a bit but I always unroll fully to be able to drain any water in hose to stop any water dripping out in shed.

Just landed - not sure I would have paid £70 for it, but the 40m hose and the connections alone are worth the £25, so I'm not complaining!

Edit: BTW, the hose holder that should be on the pull handle comes attached to the wrong part of the unit - it's not missing :smiley:
