Double bill of action thrillers starring Keanu Reeves as a former hitman who must return to the criminal world he left behind in order to seek revenge. In 'John Wick' (2014), after the eponymous hitman (Reeves) refuses to sell his car to Russian gang leader Iosef (Alfie Allen), the gang members break into his home and kill his dog, a gift left to him by his late wife Helen (Bridget Moynahan). It turns out that Iosef is the son of Wick's ex-boss Viggo Tarasov (Michael Nyqvist), head of the Russian mafia in New York. As John attempts to track down and kill Iosef he encounters assassin Ms. Perkins (Adrianne Palicki), who is working for Viggo, and eventually faces his former boss in an ultimate showdown. In 'John Wick - Chapter 2' (2017) Wick is again coaxed out of retirement when Italian crime boss Santino D'Antonio (Riccardo Scamarcio) calls in a debt and persuades the former hitman to kill his sister, Gianna (Claudia Gerini), in Rome. However, the tables are soon turned when Santino puts out a hit on Wick, a bounty his fellow assassins all over the world are only too happy to collect. The cast also includes Ian McShane, John Leguizamo, Willem Dafoe and Laurence Fishburne.

This movie had lots of Chinese money backing it, which is why there's not much dialogue in it. The last Bourne movie was exactly the same, for the reason that it can get simultaneous release in China and make tons more money. This will be an increasingly common finance model.

The entire films should of been cut .Total drosh .Mr Reeves acting skills are non existent and wooden to say the least.

who watched this for acting skills? you watch this for the action and enjoy the world in which it is set and the Continentals, High Table etc which will be expanded and explained more so in JW 3 and hopefully the TV series. Besides, it's not like Reeves even says much in this. There are vast parts of this film where nothing is even said by anyone

So why didn't the BBFC make it an 18 rather than cut it. That pisses me off when they do that. Yes the film won't get as many teens through the door but that's nothing to do with the censors. Just so some zitty 15 year old can watch it, I have to watch it cut.
