Bought it for holiday, after it is put into its waterproof case it cannot be powered off and the screen becomes full of none focused horizontal lines and does absolutely nothing else. Going straight back to shop when we get home. It does not live upto it's so called specifications, therefore not fit for purpose.

You get what you pay for, and in this case you get - a cheap quality piece of junk camera! It makes a noise like a (quiet) machine-gun in the mid-distance during all recordings, the frame count is low, the playback is choppy and certainly only useful for recording something of a factual nature, because the quality of recording will only annoy if you want to enjoy watching your footage. I consider this to be below what's acceptable even for £30.
The fittings are - reasonably poor. The waterproof housing has a hinged back-door to admit the camera and the hinge pin takes on a bowed-curve when subjected to the strain of holding the door closed against the compression seal. I've seen at least one report of this housing admitting water. The bike handlebar housing is far from secure, depending on a weak top-arm with almost no down-reverse angle to grip the camera's upper front. And bicycle use is subject to vibration and bumps. If you have one of these I'd recommend reinforcing the grip on the camera with perhaps a strong rubber band holding it in. Which might interfere with the Record button. Or a slim zip tie would also work.
But overall, despite the low price I consider this to be close to unmerchantable quality - and will certainly be taking it back - if only I can find the receipt!

So I saw these in the Darlington branch of Morrisons and though "No way! A knock off type GoPro for 30quid. Bargain! Waterproof to 100ft,HD 1080p quality, pics etc.... You're not robbed to be fair. So I got one not for anything in particular, just to mess around with. So its first outing was with myself and the kids, we filmed our bike ride/walk and pretty much entire day out,got home checked it on the laptop and the quality was decent,i wouldn't say 1080 but i wouldn't say it was terrible either, sound quality was fine too. Yes, its a bit fiddly, yes its NOT the greatest thing out there but for thirty quid brand new with all its accesories: waterproof casing, helmet stand, attachment for bike ... Its alright, its not exactly terrible, the kids enjoyed documenting our day out! ... Its a decent little piece of equipment in my opinion and I've wasted 30 notes on worse things.

I've bought two one for the front of my racing bike & second one at the back.
These are good cause I charge on it the go with a powerpack after one 100 mins of using it without using the waterproof cover.
I use the clip on to mount on the bike.
Some usb action camera's can not do charge on the move.

I have brought one and I have say it's bad :/ I'm taking it back tomorrow it can't be 12mp looks more like 4 I even went in setting and was set to 12MP shame really the case and everything else was nice I wanted for when o go Greece soon but oo well
I've just Googled this as I work in morrisons & saw a box on a pallet in the air saying 1080p action camera so did some digging! It was supposed to be on sale yesterday however it's listed on our promotions as a go pro! I'd have jumped at that but not for this. I've had a similar clone for 3 years now & only paid £18 back then.
Have a look around & there's better deals. One I saw on ebay is actually 4k, wifi & remote control for £26!

poor quality compared to others in this price range. in the market for a £30-£50 go pro clone myself at the moment, done a bit of research online and believe me this is one to stay clear of!

I think this has to be powered on before use each time and will not automatically power off when power is cut so not very good for a dashcam.
