Why would they do the 16 and 64 at the same price? Both are well priced but I wouldn't touch a 16GB any more, even Apple has bailed on those and the smallest they'll sell you is 32, and given how historically stingy they have been with storage that's really saying something.
Also, I just got a 64GB iPhone 6s Plus in Grey, they are flip-flopping in and out of stock because when you get one in the basket it lasts for 30 minutes reserved, so keep trying and checking back.

So unfortunate that I am late to the party, would of grabbed 64GB, this is an amazing price for a very capable device, these will also be in perfect condition as they mostly are customer returns, so might even have apple warranty :disappointed:

By the way 128gb seems to be priced at the same price but it's OOS as well, no brainer

It's interesting since iPhone 6 is £259 too so it seems like it might be a misprice

Runner-up prize is the SE 64GB at £259.99 which is pretty much the same hardware minus the oversized display (and OIS and 3D Touch).

Think 16GB is £168 at O2 Refresh
plewis00
14 Jun 17#21
Yes, but that's not 64GB.
iEimis
14 Jun 17#22
Wouldn't personally pay almost £100 more for 64GB, but even 64GB is £240 at O2 Refresh so still cheaper.
plewis00
14 Jun 172#23
It's also locked to O2 and you have to deal with Refresh and the hassle that goes with it. Personally buying a 16GB phone if you wanted a 64GB phone seems pointless - that's like buying a motorbike when you wanted a car because 'it's cheaper' - I think many of us would rather pay for what we need. Still, it's your opinion...
abhijitdash123
14 Jun 171#24
Why take so much hassle with O2 refresh and the added risk of damaging your credit rating when this is dead simple to get

Out of 4 devices with o2 refresh never had a problem, they also unlock it for free. It's a minimal hassle for what is a £29 saving which can mean something for many.

Something odd is going on with this, if you look at the pay monthly price, it does go up between each GB size as you would expect, but me, like others, have had text confirmation of shipment, so I guess it is going ahead.

They have 3 ratings for conditions: good, very good and excellent, so wonder why this wasn't mentioned!
The older 6 Plus 16 GB is still fairly cheap but considering it has 1GB of RAM and 16 of storage I'd pass.

15 Jun 171#47
that is for used phones these are refurbished and usually are phones sent back within the 14 day return window
abhijitdash123 to Agharta
15 Jun 171#48
Refurbished are the ones which are 14 day returns. So no grading applies.

The 16GB is still in stock but for £20 more and the condition is listed as good which is the lowest of 3 grades so grade C.

Price gone up for all models unfortunately, 32GB in Gold is available for £359, whereas 16GB is £499 as an example, which seems odd.
Select any tariff that has £7 device plan monthly price, receive the handset, put the sim in, request the unlock code online, phone customer services, pay off the device plan and cancel the airtime.

15 Jun 17#53
Just received the handset. It says Grade A so not sure if that's the same as refurbished.
Also phone only has 3 months Apple warranty so not exactly a customer return.

15 Jun 17#56
I got mine just now. It is pristine - as in, there is not a mark on the device or in the charging socket (the usual place to look for fluff and lint that gives away how old it is).
Checked Apple coverage, it is fully-expired so not sure who did the refurbishing (but there are no third-party parts on it). The lead is genuine Apple as well and brand new. Also includes a SIM pin. Battery arrived totally flat (as in, so flat, it didn't even flash up with 'plug in' logo for minutes).

Got mine, looks brand new.
Only 1 month apple warranty left but I imagine for the refurbishment they have done what apple does and replace everything except the logic board as I checked the cycle count on the battery and its only at 13 which to me says its a new battery been installed.
The screen looks new along with the outer case and Touch ID sensors as there are no marks on them at all

There's an app you can download on mac called coconutbattery, when you plug the iPhone in it displays all the battery details and charge cycles ,, for reference my gf iPhone 6s she's has since October last year has 170 cycles on it so that's how I know it's a brand new battery
