This is the cheapest price for a 240GB SSD from a brand that I would trust. It may not be the best performing drive, but with the recent price increases it is difficult to get a drive from a decent brand for a good price.
I can't buy SSDs now and for the likely future just given the historic prices :disappointed:

I've put them in all computers I've built over the couple of years (6) since the 120GB ones were about £25. All still working. No complaints.

I ordered the PLEXTOR PX-256M7VC from Amazon the other day its temporarily out of stock but its a little cheaper than this and 16gb larger but it has a massive 160tb tbw if you wrote 50gb a day to it it would last over 5 years and i needed it for my server so i needed a reliable drive and that seems to be the one, the insides are nearly exactly the same as the £20+ more expensive Crucial MX300 and it beats it performance wise in most tests so its a no brainer.
Not a bad price considering the battering the pound has taken recently.

Purchased Integral 240 GB which failed after 6 months. Took over a month to get a RMA (Free) replacement SSD from Integral. I've used various SSD brands over the last few years and this brand is the first which has failed.

the 120 I bought in one of those £25 deals is still going strong, never had an issue and still fast

These drives are basically the cheapest of the cheapest in regards to components, they won't live anywhere near as long as something like a samsung or crucial drive would, I bought the 120gb version for £25 when it was on offer here and I quickly regretted it, they are just kind of crap in every aspect compared to my other SSD's, its write speed was borderline hard drive levels.

£65 for a 240GB SSD is a good deal at the moment for any brand providing a minimum of support.
Although I'm not sure this one qualifies or not, the Integral site doesn't seem to provide any firmware updates or tools. I suspect all you're getting here is potentially better quality control than a generic chinese one.

Can't believe I missed the last offer on the 120gb variant for £25. Seems so long ago now :disappointed:

very decent drives, for most things like laptops these are ideal
