I missed this at £25 a few weeks ago, and here it is at a similar price. I was already logged in, perhaps I'm a silver member or something, but it took 3% off the price too, so I got it for £26.05.

graphic is okish on standard ps4. game is just too bland for me. side quests are boring, main quest is okish. i would say wait for this to drop to 20 pounds.

You're being a bit ageist there fella. I'm 47 and still play PS4 when I get a chance and love it. As I know many others do up to my age and beyond.
Maybe you should stick to your Readers Digest magazines and leave the technological stuff to us young at hearters.

Yes, I really don't understand the love for this game. It's quite good but not nearly as amazing as all the reviews told me.

I hope English isn't your first language. Have you actually played this game? It's a highly enjoyable game with breathtaking visuals. The basic bow and arrow gameplay to take down machines is very satisfying on its own.

I'm waiting till the goty edition or at least the 'full' game with the dlc.
I have no doubt it's worth the price right now but if you've got a huge backlog like me, worth waiting.

Not really, some items don't devalue to nearly the same extent as some PS4 games. This seems to be one PS4 game that is dropping a lot (whereas some don't i.e. GTA5)

Just got the Platinum Trophy on this game today!
+ Graphics are great (Not much difference between my standard and Pro consoles though I'm told frame rate gets a decent boost)
+ Story turned out to be much much better than expected (lots of twists)
+ Core combat (read: shooting arrows at anything that moves) is really fun
+ Huge enemy variety (there's at least 20 types of machine to fight iirc as well as humans)
+ 30 hour main quest line
- Side quests are an absolute drag and very repetitive
- Stealth mechanics are half baked
- The focus mechanic is boring (a rip off of detective mode/Witcher senses)
- The side weapons (at least 7) are a hassle to use
- Collectables are a mild pita for people wanting the platinum trophy
- Difficulty scaling too low (I started it on Easy but switching about 10 hours in, I found the hardest difficulty was perfectly manageable)
Overall, definitely worth buying and then selling on after a week or two. Little replay value beyond that.

Bigger industry that the movies these days, people are playing well into their 30s and 40s that started off with a Spectrum or Commodore. Your views are a bit dated in my opinion.

You need to grow up and learn that you cannot put an age on fun and games. If you don't like games you are no fun which would make you a very boring person.

I wonder what games you think "kiddies" play? Certainly if a "kiddies" idea of entertainment is a fully interactive, beautiful rich open world sandbox full of complex mechanics with an engaging story ontop, then I am more than happy to be a 33 year old "kid"
PS - Back to the actual topic of this thread, this is a great price for an excellent game. Heat added.

Always followed the same logic in these stand-alone titles that you don't play online, why pay £40-50 at the outset if there's no multiplayer element, just let the game drop in price and play it months later. This is the first time i've ever bought a game at close to full price to support the developers, as to me a game is only ever worth it's second-hand price, and no-one should be paying full price for No Man's Sky or Assassins Creed etc.
Whenever the guy at Game says pay £50 to support the devs, i roll my eyes and think to myself, you aren't interested in the devs, you want the greatest possible sale price for Game's bottom line.
However I can honestly say this title is still worth twice this price. It's a steal at £27 and should be bought and enjoyed immediately.
My two cents delivered. I'll disappear back into the ether now....

I take it that your handle of 'pfagan10' indicates your mental age? Sounds about right! You need to grow up, get a life, and venture out into the real world, my friend, instead of playing with make-believe toys.

29 Jun 17#35
Nope, no relevance to my mental age. I didn't say I was a gamer at any point either. It was a response to your sweeping statement. I think you are the one who needs some "real world" experience, and most likely....some friends. I take a dim view on those playing keyboard warrior and dictating other people's interests. I can only imagine your immense popularity.
colin912
29 Jun 17#36
You think that I need some real world experience (what by playing computer games, LOL)? Sonny, you need to realise that I am 73 years old and probably have more experience in my little finger than you will ever have! I won't bore you or anyone else by attempting to even begin to explain the wonderful life I have lived (and still living). As for having friends of your calibre - no thanks - all my friends are genuine people and not gaming nuts! My 9 year old son and 12 year old daughter play computer games (yes, I am a 73 year old man with my own children 49, 36, 34, 21, 12 and 9 years - plus grand children). If I die tomorrow, I will go out with a smile on my face - 33 year old computer gamers like you, won't!

29 Jun 17#41
Colin- stay 73 and stick to your own interests, I'll do similar. Maybe take up a few hobbies. I can't fathom where you have got 33 from, nor me having "gamer" friends etc. Stick to what you know, which seems to be not very much....despite 73 years of a "wonderful" life. So wonderful you troll forum threads you aren't even interested in. Move along......

LOL, yes I was born in a totally different era to the children (30 and 40 year olds) on here. I started work at 15. We didn't have TV or video games. I was lucky to be given a second hand bike for my 12th birthday. I don't begrudge my young children having things that I never had such as their PS4, Nintendo games consoles, iPads, etc. However, they are only 9 and 12. I do think it rather ridiculous that people over 20 Yes, I have a nice house, new car,act like they are still in short trousers though. I was married by the age of 21 and out earning a living for my wife and child. 53 years at as an employee at work and not a single day off sick. Yes, I have a nice house, new car every year, good food on the table, go out to dine in nice restaurants with my friends at least once a month; however, I worked for it and I am still running a business at the age of 73, that I set up when I was 68 years old. I didn't waste my time and energy playing video games in a cyber space world though. Some grown up 'children' on here need to get a life and stop being benefit scroungers that spend their welfare payments on silly games!

Although you seem to find that a very hard concept to understand. pfagan10 : I do not troll this thread - far from it - I am subscribed to it so that I receive 'hot deals' that are of interest. Childish computer games is not what I am interested in, although the site seems to be trolled by adult babies like yourself that play computer games rather than belonging to the real world. To be honest, I don't give a flying f*** about what you choose to waste your pathetic life on. Why don't you just go shut the door on your bedroom and play your silly video games. At least you are not out annoying other normal people going about their meaningful business. If you are good boy, your mummy might let you have some money for another game, LOL.

It's rather unfortunate you've quoted your age in this thread, only to subsequently behave like the biggest child amongst us. You've made a number of assumptions about something you know nothing about whilst talking up your own existence. Unsubscribe and stick to what you know, which again appears to be very little. You repeatedly refer to 'real world existence' whilst wasting your own time, and everyone else's no less, posting irrelevant, off-topic nonsense. You aren't convincing anyone, perhaps aside yourself, of how good your own life is- it doesn't appear much of one to the lay reader of this thread. Name-calling, foolish assumptions, swearing, all from a "grown adult" keen to put down other people's interests. I can't imagine anyone on these forums would want your sad existence at 73, sitting at home, waiting for another night of keyboard warrior. I conduct perfectly meaningful business on a daily basis, I'd guess unlike yourself at your stage in life. It's sad, you might look back one day and pity yourself for appearing such a fool on a "virtual" forum, a format you appear committed to continuing your bitter vendetta against....

I am sure you will have to reply because you sound the sort of idiot that would just keep on and on like a spoilt brat that cannot get its own way! Well reply all you like because from now on any of your replies are simply going to receive the kind of response that they deserve (which is f*** all) and get deleted to the junk folder. Nasty little cretins like you don't deserve any response. If you want to waste you life justifying playing baby games then just do that (and anything else you do in the privacy of your own room - just don't get it over the keyboard as you might lock up the keys) in the privacy of your own bedroom. Bye ****. End of!
