Yes, it's another Steam sale thread, but this is one that I feel really deserves as much attention as it can possibly get. Never before having been discounted on Steam, now's the perfect time to buy!
The critic reviews highlighted on Steam are absolutely on point. A beautiful, expertly designed 'Metroidvania' (with comparisons also drawn to Dark Souls), I'd encourage everyone to give this a go if it sounds even the least bit of interest

I'm not sure whether it could necessarily quite top Super Metroid and Symphony of the Night, but it's certainly up there as one of the very best recent games of this type, alongside Axiom Verge.

Indeed - hence the comparions to Dark Souls! That said, though, while I'm not a great fan of the Souls games, I love Hollow Knight. :smile:

This game was already priced amazingly low, even at full price.
It's not some 3-5 hour indie title. It's a properly meaty experience.

ive had my eye on this but I'm a little burnt out on metroidvania games right now. I would actually prefer it was only a 6 hour game but I hear its a pretty long game
