Just noticed this is on clearance from JL website.
Not need to talk about the tv as been mentioned loads of times. Great price even though the new ones are coming out. Also, great 5 years warranty from JL.
Price is £679 at richersounds

Apparently it is a 10 bit panel but only capable of 500nits maximum brightness so won't deliver the 'UHD premium' experience. Seems to fetch good reviews though!
That's what's putting me off this. Shame the LG 850V is £150 more....

It's been £599 many times and even been down to £549. Won't be tempted at £599 as it's a 2016 model and I hope it will be going down in value anytime soon

WHY and WHY should I buy this telly??? Overpriced and NO 3D! When you can get a Polaroid 65 inch telly from ASDA for way below this!!

I can't tell if you are being sarcastic! Hisense are trying to steal some of the market from the premium brands whilst being only a few pounds more than the budget brands. The TVs they produce are superior to the TVs Polaroid rebadge as their own. This deal is probably what the TV is worth at the moment, personally I would wait... I can imagine these going down to £399 on black Friday. Let's be honest most people don't replace their TV every year so if it is a year old then it is not exactly behind the times!

No top tv manufacturers are making 3d tv's anymore as it didnt take off as expected, only crappy brands like polaroid make them, a cheap 65" doesnt make it a good tv quality>size

the new hisense h55n6800 out in John Lewis doesn't look at first glance to be any different from this 55m7000, I would have thought they would have tried for UHD premium standard.

Owned this TV for about 6 months, still waiting to send it back to JL as it one of the faulty November batch. Makes annoying ticking sound(sound like cricket), its ok when you watching your tv loud but late night / console gaming its just unwatchable . I only paid £629 from JL so this deal isn't great. Picture quality is good and the sound is decent ( minus the ticking sound) Overall i would give it 8.5 out 10. ( if you don't get a November batch)

I own this tv , and it's good , apart from the epg , which doesn't seem to show anything apart from maybe "now and next" . Anyone know of a fix for this ?

Thanks, been keeping an eye on this (as well as a Panny slightly more pricey). Would be tempted by the 65 inch version but will keep an eye on thread for comments.
I bought my parents one of the M330 versions...great picture and decent navigation, but was really let down by the direct USB recording system from freeview, which was horrendous - but if you're not using this then probably nothing to be concerned about.

Really good set this. Only concern for me is motion blur in fast moving 4k. So for this reason alone I'm taking mine back to JL. I'll have to spend a lot more to achieve this. Switch off ultra smooth motion and the HD is excellent.

That's incorrect, there are still several models being manufactured including the brand new Panasonic EX750.
It's definitely on it's way out though.

I have this TV...it's great once you adjust the picture. Nice metal build.. Hard to beat at this price range. (much better than equivalent Samsungs for £600)
However...
I Bought it November last year for £650. Whilst the £50 discount in 8 months is not "deal worthy" in my opinion, and the new model is out soon which should drop these prices further.
Just Don't think now is the right time to buy this TV, wait a month or two.
The Samsung 65ks9000 I also bought recently on here was £1800 cheaper than the price it was in November 16. That felt like a hot deal.
