I bought two of these yesterday and lots left (see picture).
Ah, upon checking the date just now (so I could report it here) it is Best Before 01.06.2017.
That explains why it was so cheap. Anyway, good local bargain found at Reading's B&M (Rose Kiln).

Wowsa! Great buy! My daughter loves Mayo, a sickening amount in my opinion so I've started buying 'lightest' ones etc.. but id still buy this if I saw it! Heat (y)

better read about health issues connected with mayo ... especially if it comes about your daughter; 10 spoons of it contains a daily limit for cholesterol (300mg); light version has a bit less of fat and calories but three times more of carbohydrates so don't think its a better option

The lite ones use wallpaper paste as a thickner, better fat than junk content

really, 1st of june... There are reasons for use by dates especially something that is egg based, hope you enjoy shouting at the toilet.

best before is different to use by (companies are not allowed to sell past by use by dates)

Fridge them, strong and stable in the national interest - less sick days and sewer cleaning/charges

Really? Nowt wrong with this as:
1. The egg content is not a fresh ingredient,
2. It is 'best before', not 'use by'.
I recently found a carton of tomato juice in my cupboard that was a few years' out of date.
Smelled fine, tasted fine, no fresh ingredients so all good.

Best before not used by! Nothing wrong with it for a good few months. Hot!

Oh that is worth reading up on, thanks for the info. (I wouldn't allow her to have 10 spoonfuls in a day though! That's gross! Lol

Whatever you do, don't give her chips with the mayo. The cholesterol levels will be through the roof!

its not even about the cholesterol ... just read the label: high fructose corn syrup, potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate, calcium disodium EDTA, soybean oil plus a few less harmful modified things
good luck eating this

I totally agree! There's people going hungry every day yet the big shops still use best before dates as actual get rid of dates.. there's so much waste of food that is perfectly fine. Everybody should try being abit more brave strong

I agree tbh, I don't hold with 'low-fat' versions of things that are naturally fatty.
