it's not on the website hence no link sorry. I work there so was able to check what stores held stock and there is a lot of stock out there. I took a quick photo and posted at work as I was changing the price ticket. figured it was definitely a bargain and had to share

I think the op meant the £5 price is not on the website.

Just popped in there, marked as full price but scans through as £5. Solid enough to hold up a heavy MB and able to fully move the back wheel.

Any chance someone could upload a picture of it, it isn't very clear in the original post.
Thanks

Would help if the link took you to the item. I've tried searching the Halfords website but can't find this item.

Not sure this is even worth £5
I went in store and actually looked at it.

Looks like £5 for a pole and 2 hooks.

Don't forget those all important feet.
Seems not a bad price, just do not ask halford's to set it up for you and it should be okay to use.

I see what it is now. Seems good for £5.

This is no good for me as it will not hold a tricycle but good for any other bikes

Might be OK with a bit of adaptation. Otherwise trying to do any maintenance on it would be fun, because the bike isn't held firmly in place.

agreed its not a maintenance stand at all, what it is very useful for is to clean and oil the chain. on a bigger mtb i tend to use my head lean't against the saddle to keep it upright, as it tends to lean over precariously

These aren't any good. Look for the ones in Aldi/Lidl that clamp the frame and have a vertical adjustment.

looks like one of those rear wheel prop ups so you can adjust gears/brakes, they aren't expensive in any measure I used to go to this little bikeshop where the guy there had one, said they were very useful

I have one, and it it is useful for certain tasks but obvs not a proper bike stand. £5 about right.
