The nicest thing I can say is that you won't find this rubbish any cheaper.

Depends what you like, I suppose. Good for adding mixers either way. Decent price overall for this

Firstly it's "Whisky" and secondly it's not designed to be quaffed by connoisseurs its designed to be a mixing drink. It's certainly not going to win any awards but it's cheap and it goes well with coke.

I'm know a good whisky and this is actually a decent price compared to what it's sold for elsewhere. I think people especially hate this whisky because it's marketed as supposedly a good whisky and is really overpriced. Just keep your expectations really low it's pretty awful stuff

Am I the only one that thinks this is a nice whiskey.

I think it's over priced, due, to the fact a Celebrity has his name attached to HAIG.

there's 2 different types .. haig club and haig clubman - the prior is uaually around £35 a bottle and the brand has David Beckhams name attached to it.. (part owned by him)

Horrible stuff. Weak flavoured, watery and no depth. Only useful in cocktails where you'd darent use something decent. Even so, any supermarket whisky will do a better job. Makes bells seem like a 30yr glenfarclas.

I bought two bottles of the Haig Club from Duty free about 3 years ago had freinds around and all of us were disgusted by the (dis)taste. Gifted the other one away to some poor sod.
Met a a freind who works pretty high up for Diageo drinks later that year, told me the whisky was that bad they had to shop around for absolute ages to find a name to attach to the Haig Club brand and had to market it in a perfume bottle before David Beckham accepted their endorsement deal - it's that rank!
Also has some funny anecdotes about their company meetings and retreats, they have every drink under their brand available flowing like a viking banquet and everyone turns their nose at the **** that is Haig club. I would not want to find out how worse off this watered down version is.

I've got bottles of whiskey worth over £100 and the Clubman is perfectly acceptable for the price. Standard Haig Club is nasty but the Clubman is quite fruity with vanilla hints, good for mixing and easy to drink.
If you like standard Scotch (smoke and/or peat) then you'll hate it though.

Tried once and wouldn't buy again . Best thing I can say is that at this price it's nicer than BELLS I guess . Mix with large amounts of coke and it could even be Drinkable. But each to their own
