Having bought the gta trilogy last year on the ps4 it was that bad that it persuaded me to get my ps2 with the hdd loader installed back out of mothballs.
So, so glad that I did, that & my old school xbox get as much play between them as my ps4 does. Although currently I'm playing red dead redemption through again on the 360!

So the remastered version of this game is frankly, a frustrating mess of a port.
Taken from wiki:
Mobile version
On 12 December 2013, San Andreas was released on select iOS devices. The upgrades and enhancements from the original game include newly remastered graphics, consisting of dynamic and detailed shadows, greater draw distance, an enriched colour palette, plus enhanced character and car models. The Android and Amazon Kindle version was released on 19 December 2013 and Windows Phone version on 27 January 2014.
Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions
In 2008, the original Xbox version was released on Xbox 360; an emulated port as part of the Xbox Originals line-up. However, in late 2014 it was removed from the Xbox Live Marketplace and replaced with a port of the mobile version on 26 October 2014, the game's tenth anniversary. It featured HD 720p resolution, enhanced draw distance, a new menu interface, and achievements. While it introduced many new features, around ten songs were removed from the HD version that were present in the original due to licensing issues, and numerous new bugs were introduced.
San Andreas was first released on PlayStation 3 in December 2012 as an emulated PS2 Classic. The HD version was released on 1 December 2015, replacing the PS2 Classic on the PlayStation Store. There has also been a PlayStation 4 version released, though unlike the remake for the Xbox 360, it is an emulated port of the PlayStation 2 game, but it still has trophies and some songs edited out due to licensing restrictions.
As tempted as I am by the price, and the depressing fact that despite owning it on the ps2, OG Xbox, via the BC store on 360 and the hd remaster on 360, I've never completed it (that fricken mission chasing on the train tracks using your bike) I can't in good faith give rockstar more money for a significantly worse game than what they've already put out there previously. I just need to turn my 360 back on and play the best version that way. Voted hot tho as it's a good price, perhaps the best its ever been on psn.

It's a great GTA game I loved that back on the PS2, I might pick that up at that price

Definitely worth getting. Graphics have been remastered in HD.
This is very disappointing and IMHO lazy of Rockstar. A bit more work could have gone a long way with these. If they are mobile ports they should be mobile prices, which they certainly weren't on launch. Current prices are better but still wouldn't touch knowing they are the same as the android ports. Would love to see a true remaster, or even genuine enhancement of the original 3D trilogy would give me reason to go back to them but i just know these half arsed remasters would ruin the memory for me....

How do I get it? Like if I click on the link, it says £8 something pence. Do I need to make an eu account? Sorry if I sound a bit stupid but don't know how it works lol

It's the remastered android version that's been adapted back to PS4. Very strange way of doing it

I rebought this a few years back on 360 and it seemed pretty bad, it was one of my favourite games ever on PS2. It was apparently a bad port from the mobile version though, anybody know if the PS4 version is any better?

If you stop your ps+ subscription any discounted games you've bought in the sales are for keeps regardless of subscription status; its only the ps+ free titles that become inaccessible until you resubscribe.

Shame about the PSN games being locked behind a sub though. If you stop subscribing to the service you are locked out of your game and cannot play it.
