Enjoying watching the Foo Fighters at Glastonbury and thought one or two are missing from my collection. Checked Music Magpie as they are often cheap and on top of that they are doing an extra 15% off. Anyway, here's some bargain Foo Fighters CD's for anyone else who might be missing a few from your collection. Foo Fighters - There Is Nothing Left to Lose £1.10 Foo Fighters - Echoes, Silence, Patience and Grace £1.69 Foo Fighters - In Your Honour £1.69 Foo Fighters - Skin and Bones £1.69 Foo Fighters - Foo Fighters £1.69 Foo Fighters - Echoes, Silence, Patience and Grace £1.69 Foo Fighters - The Colour and the Shape £1.69 Foo Fighters - One By One £1.69

Yeah, might sound odd, but a great gig isn't just about the music, you can get that from a CD. A great gig is about feeling it, living it and walking away just saying 'wow' and that's achieved with the band / singer mucking around, interacting with the audience, bringing them in and making you feel you are more part of the night than the 4 dudes on stage.

It was alan partridge reference. Foo Fighters are the worst kind of turgid, bland, middle of the road, stadium filling, gash imaginable... actually as i was typing that i remembered that RHCP exist - ok, foos are the second worst.

£5 + monthly data vs £1.10 and you get inferior sound quality and you don't actually own the music, yet you think spotify a bargain!

A stark reminder that Dave Grohl works best alone. Foos are a joke these days.

Seriously?
I think they've been brilliant tonight.
I take your point - as understanding that Grohl is a musical genius and having others around him could water him down. But a 'joke'? Naaaah, never.

Absolutely ..the live experience is where having a frontman like Dave Grohl is awesome ..works the crowd ,interacts with them and generally has a great time .The music you can get at home anytime you want ..the gig like last night is very rare ..amazing performance.

I don't mind them, they are what they are, and their fans know what they are, they don't have some faux air of rock and roll rebellion about them.. for dave grohl to have actually recorded a song called 'radio friendly unit shifter' and now this... he's trolling us all...

Ridiculous comment ,of course the front man gets all the attention so are you saying the likes of Queen.Guns and roses etc are nothing without the guy up front .The set tonight was one of the best in glsto history but it takes all the guys efforts to produce a set like tonight

Lots of good cd's on the magpie for pennies, cant say the foo fighters would be top of my list. Couple of good tracks nothing more. If you like then fill yer boots.
Really, wow! When I've seen them it's always been their own concert so the supporting acts have been like biffy clyro, Jimmy eat world and I can't even remember the others! Rage against the machine must have been pretty good though

They are known to.put on a show, however the more you see them the more.you realise sometimes a lot of it is the same stuff (I.e. intro leading into Taylor's cold day in the sun, everlong solo, the 'heeeyyyy', even how they perform songs with the breaks and stuff. Let's see if he throws the drumsticks into the crowd at the end! I mean still entertaining but I've seen them a good few times and that's why I stopped but watching tonight has changed my opinion as with new material it should inject something new in the performance.

Dave's a showman and loves to perform in front of a crowd. Seen the Foos many times and always a great show - I'd much rather see a band that interacts with the audience than a band that is fantastic musically but ignores the people that paid to see them (Kings of Leon for example).

Don't dismiss the others, Taylor is amazing on the drums and Chris and Pat equally on guitar...maybe the bloke on the keyboard is the dead weight!
But you're right, Grohl owns the band. Without him, they wouldn't be a successful - the man is a living legend!
