Noticed in HMV Oxford Street they had some good deals on vinyl for Fathers day. Amazon have price matched some, but not all, of the HMV offers and this vinyl was the stand out offer.
Others include Foo Fighters - Echoes, Silence, Patience, Grace and Bob Marley - Legend. Ill post more if I can remember them!
Price of £7.99 available in "41 new from £7.99" direct from Amazon still.

Shame the link wasn't for HMV as they were the ones that started the promotion and actually have more vinyl discounted. Oh- they also pay tax and have bricks and mortar stores (for the moment at least).

Great music and a reasonable price, but sadly i'm on downloads only these days as my CD collection is beginning to take up too much space. Not sure I could justify moving back to a format I gave up 20 years ago and that takes up even more room than CD's.

It seems crazy! Apart from sound quality everything is against vinyl. They scratch easier, crackle, take up more space, more expensive to buy and have to be turned over half way through the album yet people love them. I wouldn't be surprised if they brought the Nokia 3310 back as well for the retro feel.

I have Rumours on vinyl, purchased in 1977 with my Christmas money. I then bought it on CD when I first got a CD player (1989 I think) along with ABC's The Lexicon Of Love, which I also have on vinyl. I thought the digital sound would have been better suited to digital. And now I've started buying only vinyl again.
